It’s been one heck of a long “3” games. All the others that some people consider a “spin-off” really is not. Every single game is pretty important to the main plot. 2 in particular more so than the others. Been looking forward to t for years. So hopefully it’ll be pretty enjoyable!

I played a bit of Kingdom Hearts with a friend once but the controls were difficult for me to figure out so it didn't go well. XD

Kingdom Hearts 1 was a bit more difficult on the controls side. Oh man, but KH2 got sooooo much better. Then DDD got a bit difficult again with flowmotion, but made getting around so much easier and faster.

I remember controls being the reason I had trouble getting into Silent Hill 2 just a few years back. They had the tank style controls, which not a whole lot of games continue to use these days, so I hadn't worked with them for a while. That and while there was combat, the game had ways of discouraging it by making all enemies hard to kill with weak melee weapons, very limited ammo, and the enemies respawned quickly even when you did kill them. Fighting usually resulted in more lost health than just running away from absolutely everything, which is so not my style. I'm guessing that's where the game tried to add scare and fear factor by trying to make you feel helpless, but I was more irritated by it than anything. And man, there were times camera angles only allowed you to see a few feet in front of you, which often resulted in running right into an enemy by accident.

I can see where this game might have been popular back then, but eh, I don't think it aged well against games that corrected a lot of these issues.
