Yeah I mean to be honest. SM games looked to be really promising, but there were a lot more let downs than there were it had going right for it. A good bit of the community seemed to be against it, but a lot more really enjoyed it. Just as every other game it too. Everyone has their preferences.

I just liked gyms better. A simple and casual puzzle, some trainers to battle, usually the option to head back out and heal up once you've cleared out all the trainers, and then take on the gym leader in a fun and exciting showdown. It just feels like a formula that worked. You were usually in and out relatively quickly and only on rare occasions did a gym leader really give you trouble. Yes, Whitney, I'm looking at you and your darn Miltank.
As for Su/Mo, I was really looking forward to the Hawaii-like setting, but then it kind of just felt jaded way sooner than I was expecting. It was such a bizarre feeling to be so excited for what was coming up, only to be "eh, I don't care for anymore sunny beaches or palm trees."

I remember hoping that demo was just a mini game. That the real game wasn't like that. Cause I didn't like the trial in that either. Too bad they continued on. Guess we will see how things go in SwSh though.

I do remember being disoriented with how different the demo was though. Geography was totally different iirc.

The last demo/Beta of a game I played was Battlefield 1. It actually deterred me from buying it when originally I had plans to. :P

Nah, it's just my computer couldn't handle it. That was back when I had peanut brittle for a GPU. :P

I'm still blown away by this new PC I have. Especially just how well it runs games. As long as the computer is working like it's supposed to and not playing up. XD
