If you try to be like everyone else, there will never be anything unique about you.
Society can tell you to do a lot of things, but at the end of the day, you still have the choice to listen or laugh and walk away.

I read that, and I know it was supposed to be uplifting, but my brain muttered
"Be unique.
Just like everyone else."
According to sheer numbers, no matter how unique you are, there is probably at least ONE person who is a highly comparable brand of unique.
Welcome to being human, I'd tell you to enjoy your stay on Earth but experience tells me you won't.

I dont think people share my humor. It is a unique brand of dry and dark

I mean sometimes humor goes dry. I had one hit more at work that gave someone a good laugh. There’s all these weird float designs for pools in the store. One that looks like a toilet (yes, seriously). Someone was like “why would anyone ever want to get a toilet float?” This was directed at her husband. Then it dawned on me and I told them, “if anything, I guess you could finally consider yourself a floater.”

Yuuuuup. I can officially tell the Masters is here. Traffic is even more so insane than usual. People doing more so crazy things than ever too. People turning left in the far right lane, people going straight in right turn lane only, 3-5 people blowing red lights....maaaan this week is gonna be crazy.
