Yeah hopefully I'll be starting a new job on Saturday but I haven't heard back from my boss yet which is a tad worrisome.

Well if it turns Saturday (or late Friday) then it may be worrisome. Maybe give them a call around noon and see today? Just to be sure. Better to be safe and prepared right?

Sometimes these things take time. For the job I have currently, I had interviews and didn't hear anything back until like over a month later. Sometimes there's background checks, things to settle with HR, resource requests, all that kind of stuff happening behind the scenes. So it may not be you or a rejection, it may just be the logistics working in the background.

But hopefully things come through for you! I think that would be an awesome holiday present. :3
