Ember began to describe the person in the other room. It sounded like Alice, but before Rose could say anything else, Ember mentioned something about a magic gem. Suddenly memories began to flood back. She clearly remembered getting through to Max on the S.S Annie.

Suddenly Rose remembered something else. Meghan had mentioned something about finding Max, but when did that happen, if it had happened at all? Rose's head was spinning. In the middle of all this, Ember asked her if he wanted her to sneak over and see what the girl's name was. As Much as Rose wanted to find the others, she couldn't ignore what Ember had said about magic gems. If these magic gems were the inquisitor gems that they had been looking for, then Rose had to hear what Ember knew about them.

"Before that, what do you mean about those magic gems?" Rose questioned. "Are you talking about the inquisitor gems?"
