Thanks to his new “charge” Isaac couldn’t go his usual route of blending into the crowds. So he was using the less traveled back alleys. Luckily Jewel wasn’t awake yet, so hopefully he would be at the dropoff point before anyone was any the wiser.

As he reached the outskirts of the city, there seemed to be a commotion up ahead. People were pushing past each other, shouting about something.

Before Isaac even had a chance to see what was happening, he was blinded by a flash of light. As he stumbled back, he slipped on a puddle and fell backwards…

Onto soft grass. Isaac rubbed his eyes. As his vision started to return, he saw that the buildings were gone, and in their place was a field of flowers.

Isaac sneezed. Blegh, pollen was not one of his favourite things.

Ok, so this was either a psychic type playing tricks on his mind, or he had been teleported. Maybe Chasem’s guards were better than he had given them credit for. But how had they found him?

He bag rattled lightly. Great, the fall had woken his royal highness. Why couldn’t whatever was going on have waited until after the drop off? Hopefully the tape would hold this time…

No-one had immediately attacked him, so maybe it wasn’t an trap. And it didn’t feel like an illusion, Cipher had trained him to recognise when his mind was being targeted, so if this wasn’t real, it was a very experienced psychic type, one that he’d stand no chance against anyway. But then what was going on?

There were several others in the field. One of them was giving some kind of salute? Wait, that was the Rocket logo on her chest?!

Isaac looked around quickly for some cover to eavesdrop from. Assuming that this was no in fact a trick, Cipher would want to know what was going on with this agent, and why Team Rocket are in Unova?

Just flowers. Curses. Well, regardless of what Cipher wanted, without cover there was no way he was going near those three. A mob child, a brick wall on legs and a guy who looked like he thinks of ways to torture you for fun? Nope. Anyway all he had for protection was flowers and a pokemon who’d be as much use as a paper aeroplane in a thunderstorm.

Turning on his heels, Isaac started to walk away from the others as quietly and nonchalantly as he could, hoping the they wouldn’t notice him.
