Sloane returned Carwennan to her pokeball. No doubt her pokemons' pride had just taken a bullet to the heart. Hers had at least. Sloane had to give Altea credit, her Pokemon were strong and Sloane thought she had won for a while there but Altea managed to turn things around at the last second with her trusty partner Vermilion. They communicated very well, like a trainer and Pokemon shoulder, much like how the Kimono Girls communicated with their partners. Sloane walked over to Altea and held out her hand.

"The trust Vermilion and the others put in you is remarkable. It's not unlike that between my mentors and their partners. You guys have potential, I can see it." Sloane sighed a little, "Just wish I could say the same for my team."

She giggled a bit, trying to play off her slight disappointment. ”Thanks Zenith. Though I can’t say it was all that different as far as those two with as swiftly as Paras was taken out. Your Pidegtto is really strong itself and all your pokemon Zenith! You guided them through that battle like you were all one. It was amazing!” she said and rubbed the back of her head. At the same time it appeared everyone else was battling as well or finishing them up in any case. She turned to Zenith. ”Well, I’m going to go heal my pokemon” she said and walked off ahead to the Pokemon Center ahead of Zenith, sighing as she did so.

She didnt think she’d take the loss as hard as she did and the feeling was…different from ones she was accustomed to. ”…what is this..? and why is losing a simple battle bothering me this much…?” she thought to herself as she came into the center. She headed over to nurse joy where she had her pokemon healed and then exited the center. She breathed, trying to relax and push the thought bothering her back into the recesses of her mind. They still had another battle after all, and this time, she was going to give it more then her all this time. As she walked outside the Pokemon Center, she looked down at her poke balls with her partners inside of them. A small smile creeped itself onto her face as she looked down at them. They had become stronger from the battle before. ”Thanks guys, for putting up with me. Lets give it one-hundred and ten precent in our next battle!” she said as she came to a stop outside. She glanced over at Altea and Sloane, smiling a bit and then walked over to where she had been standing for the battle prior. ”I won’t lose this time Zenith!” she said smiling. Before the battle would take place, she looked down at her pokemon to look at their newfound strength.

Zenith smiled at Sou's compliments. "Thanks, Sou. I guess battling comes naturally to me, what with all the pokemon battles my dad had me do. It's become second nature I guess."

Zenith headed into the Pokemon Center and had her pokemon healed. As she waited, she took out her journal and began to write in it. After she finished writing, she headed over to the counter and picked up her pokemon. She clipped their Poke Balls onto her belt and headed back outside. Sou had come back out after healing her pokemon as well.

"I won't lose this time, Zenith!" Sou declared confidently, a determined look on her face.

Zenith grinned. "That's just what I want to hear, Sou! I'm not hold back, and neither should you! Let's give this second round everything we got!"
