"This... all this for me!?" Vasha exclaims with surprise. "Oh... oh my... not only can I make sure mom gets that medication, but this will be more than enough to pay for her operation! I promised her a better life so many years ago and I wasn't able to do it with the small salary I have. I tried so hard but I can barely support myself these days. But with this money, I can finally keep that promise, thanks to you! She means so much to me and I can't thank you enough for everything you've done!"

She hugs you with her wings, and you feel compelled to return the favor. Just knowing that her mother will be able to live a happier, longer, and healthier life fills you with an uplifted spirit as you know this money will go toward a good cause.

She is forever thankful for you, and deep inside, it renews your morale and faith in doing the right thing for all those in need, regardless of what might stand in your way of doing so.

Now to disarm [Lamentation Nail] #Woeful Presence# (1 Sanity Damage)

As you reach the last of the cursed items in the pile, you remember the process that was used for the [Damnation Nail] and decide to follow suit with the [Lamentation Nail]. As before, you handle the nail very carefully, making sure to only use tongs and graspers to pick it up and lock it in the workbench vice.

The woeful presences coming from this nail behave in a similar way that the hellish presences in the [Damnation Nail] did. You decide to coat it with rubber again to put a protective guard between the cursed metal of the nail and the holder. This way, whoever handles it won't have to deal with this while the nail remains intact and still retains it functionality.

As before, you apply the double coat just to be sure. Once it dries and takes hold, you hold it in your yellow paws and confirm it's now safe for anyone to handle. As with the other nail, you're not quite sure how this is supposed to be used, but at least it's now safe.

The #Woeful Presence# (1 Sanity Damage) trap on the [Lamentation Nail] has been removed.

With the pile of cursed items now fully cleansed and addressed, you do wonder about what you'd like to do next.

I'll disarm {Odd-Looking Statue: Missing Shroud} #Threatening Gaze# (3 Sanity Damage) so someone can deliver the shroud without getting hurt <3

Knowing the kind of bad news an exposed Mimikyu is capable of, you decide to head back toward the Sunnytown Strip Mall and approach the statue from behind to avoid looking directly at it. At the same time, you also carry a black blanket to ensure whoever tries to place the Shroud won't have to deal with accidently stumbling and staring right as this abyssal statue and take the full, morbid affliction.

It feels unsettling to get close to it even from behind, but you quickly cover and wrap the black blanket over it so that you could look at it from any angle and it doesn't unleash it's dark effects on you. It was close, however, as approaching it from any other angle could have caused a severe amount of disturbances.

The #Threatening Gaze# (3 Sanity Damage) trap on the [Odd-Looking Statue: Missing Shroud] has been removed.

You figure once someone comes with the Shroud, they'll be able to put it on top of the black blanket, and then safely remove the blanket from under it to cover the statue with the shroud. You're not quite sure what's going to happen once that's done, but at least this ill effect will be resolved.

Hello there! How are you today? My friend and I were just wondering if you knew anything about the Stalkers.

You head to the ApexMart and that's where you find Misa running the cashier. For a moment, she thinks you have a question about trying to find a particular item to buy, and then she realizes you're here to discuss the Stalkers.

"I'll be honest, I don't get out much," Misa tells with a sigh. "Dealing with customers here gives me more Pokémon interaction than I care for."

"I'm not sure which ones are Stalkers," Misa replies. "I'm not even entirely sure what a Stalker is. I've only just overheard that they're killers, but what's the difference between them and just typical murderers? Since when did we start giving them this special title?"

"Maybe take a look at Ledric the Hotmontop," Misa suggests with a shrug. "That guy's a real jerk and keeps coming in here saying this place is killing his business. I just work here, I don't own the place, but yet he's screaming at me like I sold drugs to his son or something. I wouldn't be surprised if he's probably one of these creepy killers they keep talking about."

"Well, beyond that, word on the street is Yandil is something screwy," Misa tells you. "I just don't know the guy that well. He shops here every now and then, but he's usually in a rush and he's out the door. He's a weird one."

"That's about all I know," Misa shrugs again. "Again, I'm not really too into following these Stalkers. I doubt I'd come up with anything much if I even tried to investigate them. Well, I've got to get back to work before Kanna notices."

She then gets back to work and starts ringing up the items of the customer in back of you.

Rusty took quick stock of the state his mind was now in... And shuddered. There were old problems he never faced from the Royal Head Delivery mixed with new ones from the Blade and Eevee statue... There was only one way to fix things, and that was to whack his problems with a wrench. His dreams as he slept that day were of him bashing the darkness messing with the delicate workings of his brain into submission. Quite fun compared to his normal insanity...

More resting!

Seeing as how last night's sleep helped clear some of the disturbances in your head, you decide to continue resting today to continue purging the shadows out of your mind. The spirit Eevee stays close to your side, and even though her ghostly and ethereal presence can sometimes feel a little unsetting, in other ways it helps you not to feel so alone. It also seems like the fact she's dead doesn't even bother her all that much.

She stays close by your side as you lay back on the bed mattress and close your tired eyes. You pull the bedsheets up to your chin and the weariness of sleep starts to come over you. You can sometimes see faint flickers of shadows even with your eyelids closed and you can sometimes make out faded memories of some of the more traumatizing things you've seen, but they seem to blur out as time goes on and the memories fade.

Rusty O'Toole has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

The rest seems to be working and it seems to be refreshing your body and mind. Already, you're feeling better now than you did a short while ago...

Well, I got enough stuff for three Stalkers, but let's set up what we need for #4! I'm going to purify this [Ceramic Bowl] and then see if this weird, [Blue Fur] leads to something we should be wary about.

Working through the day, Tashy uses her Seinaru powers to prepare for a potential fourth Stalker target with the Sin Purge Ritual. She prepares the [Ceramic Bowl] and instills a strong, holy power throughout it, causing it to emit a calming, white glow.

[Ceramic Bowl] has become [Blessed Ceramic Bowl: <Empty>]].

She then goes through the [Blue Fur] sample to see if it contains Stalker essence. She spends a good hour with it, screening it with her Seinaru in multiple ways to see if it passes through each of her tests. However, at the end of all her screening, she's convinced whoever this belongs to isn't a Stalker.

Pokémon Sample [Blue Fur] does NOT belong to a Stalker. It has been removed from the Team Inventory.

She decides to cook some pasta for tonight. It's her own special sauce, too!
