You decide to pay Caka the Scyther a visit to learn more about what it takes to Retrain a Pokémon and get more information out of them.

It appears Scyther isn't surprised to see you take her up on her offer, though she makes it clear her quick crash course is grueling and isn't for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. Nonetheless, you feel ready and want to know just what it takes.

Caka goes deep into telling and showing you how to entrap any Pokémon during a deep and thorough interrogation and to make them feel weak and submissive. She also shows you how to use the right body language to show that you're the one in control to make sure they spill their guts about everything they know.

She also shows you some interesting techniques to let your words take a psychological effect on the restrained Pokémon's mind in what she describes as "controlling words." You realize the process of Restraining a Pokémon isn't pretty or ethical, but it gets the job done and it serves as one case where the ends justify the means. You know you sure aren't going to get a whole lot of friends by using these tactics on Pokémon, but you'll at least get answers, especially from those who might be very stubborn.

Caka makes good use of every hour and you feel you've learned a lot through her. It really makes you feel hardcore and in control at the end of the training, making you feel like you can size up any Pokémon and get them to talk.

Congratulations! Quincy the Victini now knows the Restrain ability!

You decide to head back to base now with the training concluded.

You find Nackin relaxing just outside of the Rubinelle Condominiums in the small patio area that the tenants can use. He seems to be having a cup of coffee while looking over the classified section of the newspaper when you come to greet him.

You introduce yourself and inquire what he knows about the Stalkers.

"Do I know you?" Nackin asks, glancing at you for just a moment. "I don't think I've ever seen you before."

He doesn't answer the question on the first attempt, so you inquire again. It seems you're not getting through to him that well...

"I'm a bit out of a job thanks to them," Nackin replies, figuring he's alone with no one else to talk to anyway. "Closed up the school. Was a math teacher, but I'm trying to hunt for something else. All because of Stalkers. Makes me wonder if they're a front for something else. Anyway, I think that's enough. Best you be off now."

He goes back to sipping his coffee and just looks as the paper again. It seems he just doesn't want to talk to you at the current moment...

You feel downright awful and though you've been pulled out of the traumatizing remnants of what RttnCrps left behind in the Tolbin House, the nightmares and horrors are still plaguing your mind.

Shivering and still feeling paranoid, you decide there's nothing you can do but sleep until this miserable horror goes away.

Hope has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

You still wish the voices and the screams would just shut up, and you plead for the shadows to stop moving so quickly around you...

You arrive before the Deckler Apartment Building, which from the outside, doesn't seem to be in bad condition, though it definitely seems like the first floor was supposed to be a retail space that was remodeled to be a residential space instead. You're not quite sure how that worked out judging from what you can see on the outside, however.

You search the outside first and the front seems pretty normal. The building doesn't seem to be in bad condition, though a bit of renovation work wouldn't be a bad idea. The brass doorknob for the door to the upper level apartments definitely needs to go. The gray brick walls aren't so bad, though.

You get to the back and you find there's a small patio area for the tenants on the first floor to have a space outside while the tenants on the second and third floors get balconies. The patio on the first floor seems quaint but comfortable, but what really catches your eyes is a well-sculpted statue of happy and content Starly perched besides a cheerful Pidove. On the bottom seems to be an inscription.

Nuno, the Starly of Salvation and Adria, the Pidove of Cheer.

Nothing really seems that strange about the statue, but you notice there seems to be a small hole in the chest of the Starly and a similar-sized hole in the Pidove's chest.

Objective {Two Birds Statue: Salvation Starly Hole, Cheerful Pidove Hole} has been noted in the Team Records.

You decide to search the inside of the apartment building. On the first floor, it seems like this used to be a small diner or bar, but was recently turned into a studio apartment. You have to say that the floor plan layout really didn't work out all that well, but the tenant, Deen the Timburr, is working with it the best he can. Thankfully, it doesn't seem like he is bothered by it, but he sure isn't going to show it off to everyone in town that his bed is the first thing anyone seems when walking through the door.

On the second floor, you find Jeddi the Bewear's apartment. You decide to look through it and you honestly wish you hadn't. It's a mess. It seems like she hasn't vacuumed anything for months and it just smells. Her bathroom is the worst out of everything. You find it remarkable that someone can leave something like pizza boxes in the bathtub and somehow get the toilet to clog because she was too lazy to throw out half a submarine sandwich and tried flushing it instead.

Her bed is more of a blanket pile than anything else with some dirty laundry mixed in. Meanwhile, the walls and the carpeted floor, which is disgustingly wet in some places, are badly stained and will probably need to be replaced after she's evicted.

On the third floor, you find this is where Nillian, Drisha, and Daki live. Their apartment is MUCH nicer and it seems like even though the living space is small, they make it a cozy and comfortable place to live. You find Nillian is a sports enthusiast while Drisha likes to sew and make clothing. Meanwhile, Daki the Starly seems to enjoy coloring and reading books. You can see that Nillian and his wife Drisha have been working hard to support the family.

When you search through Daki's small bedroom, you find a note left behind on her perch.

Message =Note to Daki= has been noted in the Team Records.

After making one last quick round through the building, you decide to head back and return to base.

You find Murod at the Sengar Manufacturing Plan. He seems like a very hard-working Pokémon, but lately he has become distraught. You inquire as to what you can do to help him, and he seems very thankful you're willing to hear him out.

"Thanks, I know this is a bad time to ask for help, but I could really use some right about now," Murod explains. "Someone has been taking advantage of the Stalker attacks and they stole a hard drive out of my computer. I have a feeling they thought I had evacuated with the others and wouldn't ever notice it, but now it's been stolen."

"My life's work is on that machine and I know I should have backed it up," Murod tells you. "I've been meaning to, but I've never been able to get around to it. Listen, a lot of critical research and development work is on that drive and I really need to get it back. I don't know who stole it and I'm hoping they haven't gotten too far off with it, but please, be on the lookout for it and let me know if you find it. My career is riding a lot on that little drive and I never thought someone would take it in a time like this. I can't get over the fact someone would take advantage of a disaster like this and try to use it for self-gain..."
