Eh, hate to say it, but I've come to really distrust mobile games. It just seems like all of them are heavily geared for microtransactions. Especially the ones that involve playing against other people online. There's nothing cheesier than being beaten by someone who should have lost under normal and fair circumstances, but they won because they essentially purchased cheats. Sure, they may advertise "free download," but that's essentially the cheese on the mouse trap.

It's way better to just pay an upfront amount for a Switch game that isn't going to shower you with ads or tons of microtransaction offers. That's way better than to have to deal with a mobile game where you're going to eventually get stuck unless you pay for dozens of microtransactions just to keep up with everyone else already hung in with escalation of commitment.

Yeah I really don't play a ton of mobile games anymore because of that. Fate/Grand Order and Pokemon Duel are really the only ones.

I haven't seriously played Pokémon Duel in a long time. I logged on to get the anniversary gifts for Pikachu, but that's it recently. I need to try again some more.

I mean don't get me wrong! They give MORE than a fair share of gifts away. Tons of free stuff each month...but it's all followed so close at hand that I never have enough luck and jewels to go around getting them all. xD

Yeah I've gotten plenty of good stuff without dropping a dime on the game. There's some pieces that are exclusive for a month but then they're added to the general gacha pool afterwards so depending on what level you are and how often you play you can get them for free too it's just harder.

Yeah, I get a few jewels every now and then. It's not like how when it was first released. Getting all those bonus jewels was so nice. I get enough every rare now and then to pull another 4 pack for a better chance at something rare.
