    Name: Sloane Jackson
    Age: 17, but almost 18.
    Gender: female
Appearance: Sloane is a 5'3 Caucasian female. She is fairly small in stature and a little bit on the heavier side. She's not very fit but can run for about a mile without needing to rest. However, Sloane does have a bad knee. Her left leg tends to give her trouble so she keeps a silver walking stick around to keep her steady when the need arises. She has long brown hair that reaches her mid-calves but usually is kept in a braid which reaches just below her butt. She usually wears a black shirt with blue jeans, a black and silver jacket, a chain necklace, and a bandanna with black goggles. Sloane doesn't carry much else on her but she does carry a field guide in her black back sack to help her identify certain Pokemon and attributes of them if she's unsure about them.
Current State: She's currently a human and all her Pokemon are fine.
Personality: Sloane's a bit on the insecure side. She's optimistic in most cases, but if her patience wears thin she goes very close to insane. In such cases, Sloane becomes very aggressive and may attempt to hurt those around her. Sloane is also prone to depression but she tends to hide this because she does not want to bother others with such ordeals. Still, Sloane is caring, quick-witted person and fairs much better emotionally when she has people there to support her.
History: Sloane was orphaned in Ecruteak City in the front of the Kimono Girl temple. For sixteen years, Sloane was raised and trained as a kimono apprentice. However, unlike most trainees, Sloane was eventually sent to Kanto by the Kimono Girls for a journey. She never regretted it. Sloane quickly set her sights on becoming a dark type specialist, feeling closest to the Pokemon of this type, but that never stopped her from catching Pokemon of other types. Following her journey in Kanto, Sloane began to travel the world with her boyfriend, Dylan Thomas. Hoenn was their third stop, following Sinnoh and Kalos. The two split up in Slateport after Dylan got a call from his work and was forced to fly back to Sinnoh in a hurry. They agreed to at least keep in contact and hopefully be back to continue their exploration of Hoenn within a week's time. In the mean time, Sloane decided to take advantage of her freedom and look over all that Slateport had to offer. The contest hall, the museum, and the market had all been fantastic sites to see. Sloane's next stop was the Trick House. She had planned to go to the abandoned shipwreck after that but such a plan never came to be after Sloane became trapped inside this insane house. Now she had to find her way out and it didn't seem likely she'd escape anytime soon.
Pokémon (up to six): Shaymin (Shay), Mightyena (Asch), Manetric (Mori), Mawile (Odessa), Noivern (Bruyverne), and Zangoose (Dotta)
Entrapment Length: Just over a day.
Other: Dylan has been her boyfriend for about two years now. Given Dylan’s personality, Sloane’s found it a bit weird he has not called her since he left Slateport. Sloane has a black pokégear but has already noticed the thing seems a bit bugged out since it won't make any calls or anything.

    Name: Dylan Thomas
    Age: 20
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Dylan is tall, about 5'11 and the average weight for a man of his size and age. He has short brown hair, somewhat tanned skin, and is built well. He tends to wear blue, and at the time of his transformation, he was wearing blue jeans, a pink t-shirt with the words “Fairies aren’t just for Girls" on the front, and a blue jacket. He also had his favorite blue fedora with a pink stripe on it. He also has a badge from the Sinnoh branch of the Pokemon Bureau of the Investigation.
Current State: Currently, Dylan is stuck in the form of a wind-up togetic toy. He can walk around, pick up things, and eat. However, in order to speak or fly, the key in his back must be wound up. Dylan finds this extremely irritating.
Personality: Prior to this incident, Dylan was a calm, cool, and collected guy that could easily reason himself out of any situation. He cared a lot about others, more so than himself, and would sacrifice himself for the sake of others. He also liked his girlfriend, Sloane, a lot and constantly worried over her since she was not in the best physical condition, resulting in many phone calls back to her, whenever he could manage them. Now, he’s even more frantic and panicked than usual. Dylan wants nothing more than to escape this place because he worries not only for himself, but also for Sloane. He wishes to protect her from anything that could possibly happen to her with the proximity of the Trick House to Slateport, each day brought her chances of entering this place much higher. He’s also a bit more irritable than usual.
History: Dylan was born and raised in the Sinnoh region. His family traveled quite a bit across the region so Dylan was given the rare opportunity to visit most of the major cities in Sinnoh. His favorite stop, however, was Celestic Town. Dylan was enamored by the stories of rare dragon Pokemon and the myths of their once strong rivals, the fairies. It was also here that Dylan met his uncle, Johto Champion Lance. After that, Dylan was regularly thrust upon Lance to visit Johto. The first time he visited the place, he hated the entire trip up until her arrived at a festival in Ecruteak city. It was there he met Sloane for the first time. The two quickly bonded and two years after that, he finally got the guts up to ask Sloane out on a date. Shortly after turning nineteen, Dylan became the youngest member of the Pokemon Bureau of Investigation. He has yet to do much field work, but he doesn't mind that since he knows he needs to learn the basics before he takes on the big cases. In fact, it was this very mentality that got Dylan stuck in the Trick House. Following his departure from Sloane, Dylan was sent to the Trick House based on rumors from the locals of people going in and never coming out. Dylan just didn't realize he'd join that list of people too.
Pokémon (up to six): His team is all fairy types due to his specialization in the area: Sylveon (Becquerel), Gardevoir (Fei), Aromatisse (Marigold), Togekiss (Melody), Wigglytuff (William), and Azumarill (Hannah). Currently, his pokemon are still with him, and they have been relatively unaffected by the food and water other than occasionally growing mushrooms from their arms, blooming flowers on their heads, etc.
    Entrapment Length: Roughly 5 days.
Other: Sloane’s been his girlfriend for about two years now.

As far as the Pokémon themselves go, there's quite a lot of situations that might cause you to lose them (in Jonathan's case, transformations caused him to lose his belt of Pokéballs along with the rest of his clothes, but I'll go more into that once the RP actually starts). You could be a trainer that still has them. I'm just personally having one of Jonathan's personal side-quests be the retrieval of his Pokemon belt.
On that I just meant like could your character be a random Pokemon that found it's way in somehow, but I think I abandoned that idea now lol.

The next food or drink then makes them shrink to become a Pikachu that's only a few inches tall, but that one is temporary and after a short while, you're back to normal Pikachu size (but still a Pikachu). And there's a few things that might not even fully transform your character and only make certain alterations, such as if your Pikachu character ate something weird and made a mushroom grow out of their head, but everything else remained the same.

Again, it's really quite open, but yeah, the general theme of having weird stuff happen when your character eats or drinks is pretty much a given, but the exact nature of the effect is up to you. Sure, sometimes it could be helpful in its own weird way, but other times, it should be a pain in the neck to deal with. In pretty much all cases, it would leave your character feeling weird and funky. It helps the rest of us laugh. XD
Ah so kinda like I was thinking. A sort of fun house effects with (near) anything goes kinda clause to what can happen. As great as it sounds having the "permanent" effect. Jumping straight into that sounds like it wouldn't be as fun though lol. It could be something that may or may not happen...but you know me and Pikachu well there it seems xD

One good example of god-modding would be a character that never suffers even one inconvenience from the stuff they eat or drink (in fact it seems to help them overcome everything all the time), their character seems to know exactly what needs to be done to escape and/or find and defeat the Trick Master, and manages to do that instantly and effortlessly. Stuff like that is a killjoy to the whole thing, and obviously we don't want that. Sure, a "victory" condition could be reached eventually, but it should take time, effort, investigation, and some ingenuity. Plus teamwork between characters would be nice to see also.

Bunnying (having direct influence over what happens or what another character does) is a little looser here give the unusual nature of the RP. Say Jeff and Natalie are two human characters (both are controlled by their own RPer) trying to work together to escape the Trick House Underground. They come across a weird room that looks like a bakery. During one of Jeff's posts, one of the cakes suddenly has a giant, pink Weezing pop out of it that sprays the room full of pink gas and that very gas ends up transforming Jeff into a pink Piplup when he inhales it. Now, Natalie is in the same room when that happens, so the RPer controlling her is going to have to address that in one way or another (most likely it's going to involve having her get transformed into a pink Pokémon also just because of where she's standing). This is just one example of where one RPer's posts will affect another's (which makes it fun and crazy in a way, that's the whole purpose of the RP after all). I just don't want people to go too far and force stuff on each other, where the guy controlling Jeff states Natalie gets hit by it also. Let the other RPer decide how that happens, if that happens (but be reasonable, they shouldn't be escaping absolutely every bad thing that comes their way). Sure, Natalie might escape, but it's unlikely because realistically, she wasn't expecting that at all. By a slim chance, she could turn around and sprint away, but as a result, she becomes separated from Jeff ("you ditched me!"). That kind of thing. Around here, we throw curveballs at each other.
Yeah that pretty much explains it well. A character that seems like they know everything or can overcome anything with no harm or effects from what the world (or story) was created TO make wouldn't be too much fun. It would feel like a main character of a show/game that knows everything and would kinda take away from it all.

Hmm, that's one thing I didn't think about (other effects than just food or some water/drink) that would/could change their appearance. So it could stretch out to be whatever might fit the scene and add to the story or humor at the time. Yeah bunnying I would have to get used to cause I know not everyone likes others using their character (especially if it effects them too much). So loosely would be good. As long as they don't physically control what happens to the other person's character, got it =D.

Also, the transformations might help in one room or area (being a Pikachu that can navigate through tiny passageways a human can't) but could be a pain in the neck in another (now he has to climb many glass staircases and ladders that were sized for humans).
Yeah, following the rules at all times would be best lol. Keeping it pg-13, but under if possible. xD well you pretty much read my mind in that sense because that was my exact thinking there (how like being a Pikachu could help get to places a human can't like small narrow passageways while a human couldn't vs like stairs that would be harder to climb up). Even though Pikachu is my favorite. I can't stick just to that for this. Where would the fun in all that be? Though I'm sure I could come up something to have something random happen at times.

Yeah just being my first (other than WAR which was just bad timing for my laptop to die out) RP here I don't wanna make it too hard to follow, but still have to learn the best way to go about keeping it going. Something to keep the mind and ideas flowing really

I hope to have something to post soonish. Maybe later today I hope.

How exactly do you pronounce Sloane? Is it just Sl-oh-n?

So a few normal people, a twig, and a wind-up toy. This is looking very promising.

You know, in all my life no one has ever asked that. That is one way I've heard it pronounced but I actually believe it's pronounced S-loan. The E is silent so as long as you get close Sloane would respond.

I was just wondering because I was recently listening to Eragon on CD, which has a character named Sloan and is pronounced how it looks. But Sloan is a guy and I wasn't sure if you pronounced it different for a girl or if the E made a sound at all.

Like I said, I've heard it both ways and I've heard it pronounced with a "eee" sound at the end. The E is usually silent though.

came out a bit more detailed than I originally thought, but here's s short/long character entry.

    Name: Brian Evans
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male

Appearance: A young man, an artist, who honestly looks younger than he actually is. Wears a solid purple shirt with an orange scarf he carries with him to wear if it ever got too cold. He's 5'4", light skinned, but you can tell he gets a lot of sun from time to time. He has moderately short hair, mostly likes it to lay down flat. Carries a backpack with all his supplies. He carries around extra clothing because when he goes out, it's usually for days at a time.

He tries to stay active, but with his line of work he barely gets time other than the walk or climbs he makes to get the best view he can of any area or Pokemon. Prefers when taking trips to wear long pants in a darker, more navy blue shade. He also carries a watch with him. His watch is also his calendar, which mean it's also his only way of telling what day it is, time; basically his only way of keeping track of time at best. If he loses it, it becomes much harder for him to tell how long he's been out or how long he's been at this location. He does, however, have on his watch a way of telling directions (not with a compass) and contacting people, but they can't contact him. However, since becoming trapped here the "contact" function has stopped working correctly, at least that's what he believes since there's no sound from it anymore.

Current Sate: Still a human. Brian is still keeping his sense about him, but the way his rations are going, he and his Pokemon might not be able to hold off eating or drinking from this area much longer. Seeing Pokemon able to actually talk at first freaked him out, but in this new world he's started to get used to seeing and hearing it. Though, Brian still suffers from nightmares from what happened one year ago. Sometimes, it effects his judgments, and causes him to react out of emotions rather than logic or ration.

Personality: Brian has always tried to keep an easy-going kind of attitude towards most things. When others wanted help, he's always wanting to do what he can to help, but sometimes that's what causes him to lose his way. Other than his art sketches Brian has always loved puzzles or complex things to solve. Sure it would take him a lot of time, but he's always enjoyed the thrill of it. When it comes to being somewhere or finding the perfect spot, usually Brian gets lucky. He always happens to find the, what he calls, "the perfect spot." Usually it's followed by perfect timing where as he seen as many great sites as an artist can hope and dream to see and sketch. Again his judgments are sometimes effected, meaning even his attitude toward certain things may suddenly change depending on what his mental state may be like at the time.

Brian hates being picked on. He grew up with that and now he sometimes has rash ways of dealing with it. If he ignores them, it only further burdens him later on. Sometimes, he just wishes he had the power to stand up to them, much like his Pokemon, but his Pokemon are his only friend currently with him. All of his other human friends have all gone off on adventures as trainers and now somewhere in Kanto. They all preferred to travel with each other. Brian doesn't have anything, but the best of feelings for his friends success.

History: Brian used to be a trainer in Johto. His first Pokemon ever was his Pikachu. Normally a trainer would get their first Pokemon from the region's Professor. Brian, however, got his from his family. For his birthday when he turned 10, his parents gave him a Pikachu. They used to have fun battling with their friends at school and going on random adventures with each other in the forest near their house. One day Brian took his Pikachu and his best friend to the forest. Together they made it further than Brian and his Pikachu ever made it. They ended up finding a clearing, which was a rather large field. Suddenly they heard cries, cries from a Pokemon, an Eevee. Not knowing what to do Brian's Pikachu suddenly jumped down from his shoulder telling him something in pika-speak, then runs off into the forest. Brian and his friend both look at each other confused, assuming it said it will be right back. Brian tries comforting the Eevee while looking over it's wounds. They weren't too deep, it only looked like scratches, but this Eevee looked very young. Had it's parents abandoned it? Not even 5 minutes later Brian's Pikachu runs back. It runs up to then hurt Eevee and hands it gently a few Oran berries. Timid at first, the Eevee nibbles on one of the berries and it's tears stop. It slowly stands up and eats the berries. After some time of looking after it, wondering if it's parents are coming back. They decide to leave as it was getting late. Looking back at the Eevee as they told it good-bye the image is still stuck in Brian's mind of a beautiful sunset behind the trees as they look back at a confused Eevee, that suddenly perks up and gives back a radiant smile. This image is one of the few things that directly inspired Brian to become the artist he is today. After arriving at home, after saying bye to his friend, Brian hears rustling in the bushes before he gets back inside. Suddenly, a small-bushy tail pops out. Then it's head. it was the Eevee they found earlier. Apparently it followed him back home. After some thought...oh who am I kidding, it wasn't even a thought! Brian just KNEW he had to keep this Eevee. Together, he thought Pikachu and Eevee were going to be the best partners a trainer could ask for....until.

Years later, he's lost Pokemon (whether it was from a thief that stole them or whether the Pokemon defended him and died). Most recently, his Pikachu died. Brian had his Pikachu and Eevee with him that he had always carried with him from the start of his journeys, but while he was sketching a wild Leafeon in a forest one day "it" happened. Somewhere he started hearing crying, which to him sounded like the cries of another Pokemon. Knowing the layout of forests now, thanks to his Pokemon, research and journeys, Brian now knows layouts of forest much better than he used to. He found an Oran berry bush and Pecha berry as well, just in case. After rushing there to where they heard the cries. No one was there, but unbeknownst to Brian, his Pikachu heard exactly where it was. The sound that Brian had ignored above them. Someone had hid themselves really well in a tree and pounces on Brian. He's talked to the ground throwing Pikachu off of him. Brian had suddenly found himself fighting for his life on the ground with a blade pointed towards him. Refusing to meet the armed guy's demands, the mysterious guy suddenly prepares his arm to hit Brian. Brian feared the worst in his already weakened state. He couldn't reach his bag to pull out Eevee and Pikachu was thrown off somewhere. He closed his eyes fearing the incoming thrust from the guys blade, but....suddenly the pressure forcing his body down had been lifted, but he still couldn't move. Had he been paralyzed? No..this was different, maybe just paralyzed with fear. He was able to force open his eyes, but only to see one large bolt of lightning come down and 2 screams. Brian blacked out after that. Later, Brian felt shakes, no...nudges on his sides. Grunting, but not up yet he suddenly feels a lick on his face which makes Brian jump up. Alert now after remembering what had happened he was worried. What had happened...he remembers being attacked, but after that-. Suddenly it hit him, to him it was as if time itself has stopped. Looking over to where he saw the lightning before he passed out Brian sees only one large crater with scorches around where it landed and a large charred object, which was most likely the guy that attacked them. Then, after looking around Brian had remember being licked. Looking to his side he saw his Eevee. He wondered how she got out of her Pokeball, but he was horrified to look by his backpack. His Pikachu, lay there in front of his bag. Not moving and laying there, lifeless. These memories still haunt Brian even today as his Pikachu was one of his best friends. It's been one full year now to the exact day that the story takes place.

2 days ago Brian had his Eevee with him walking looking for something to sketch and had already prepared for at least a week long trip. Somehow, finding this place was some of the worst luck Brian and Eevee had gotten themselves into in at least a year. They both figured a new region was just the change in pace they needed. Were they right?

Pokemon: 1 (an eevee -just named Eevee) He always was bad with nicknaming Pokemon. So he just decided to leave it as "Eevee."

Entrapment Length: 2, almost 3 days now.

Other: Because of his skills as an artist, this allows Brian to remember things he sees or notice things a little easier than some people, even the smaller details such as: sights, sounds, or smells of the areas he's been. The memories of what happened are still haunting Brian and sometimes causes nightmares.

I think that's the longest history description I've ever seen. Clearly Chakra won't be suffering from a lack of detail in his RP posts XD
