We took a week off last week to bask in the sun and moon but today I am back with a match that features Electrode from Evolutions who is experience some explosive success. This Electrode was part of a deck that shocked everybody and took one of the top eight spots at Dortmund Regionals.
The main attackers of this Electrode-Lightning deck are Jolteon EX and Raikou. Jolteon EX can slow down the game while Raikou can be a one prize attacker who can quickly two-hit KO any Pokemon who faces it. Though the heart and soul of this deck is Electrode who has the Bzzap Thunder ability. This ability allows you to knock out your Electrode in order to attach it to any of your Lightning Pokemon as two Lightning energy. This will energize your Pokemon in two turns due to Jolteon EX and Raikou both requiring three energy. So if you can get an energy attachment on your first turn and Electrode exploding on your second turn then you can simply shock your opponent. There is even a second form of energy accelerating by using Max Elixir to get energy out from your deck. If you are able to be successful with a few Max Elixir then there can be a small army of electric soliders ready to battle in a few turns.
