There is something exciting for every Pokémon GO fan out there!
A plethora of news has just dropped pertaining to Pokémon GO. There is so much to cover and no better place to get it all, than right here. We have everything from a new research breakthrough, to Pokémon making their debut, and even sparkling new Shiny Pokémon.
From June 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to June 12, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Adventure Week 2022 will be in full swing. Historically this event has focussed heavily on fossil and Rock-Type Pokémon, and this year seems to be no different.
Look forward to Amaura and Tyrunt, both making their Pokemon GO debut. During this event there will be a bonus of 2x XP for spinning PokéStops and 5x XP for spinning a PokéStop for the first time. Releasing for the first time, Shiny Tirtouga and Shiny Archen will be hiding in 7k eggs and through Field Research.
In The Wild
Here are The Pokémon you can expect to find in the wild near you. As always, any Pokémon marked with an asterisk, has the potential to be Shiny.

Ultra Unlocks During GO Fest
Niantic loves making Trainers work for their bonuses. This GO Fest will be no different. But because there will be multiple GO Fest celebrations happening all over the world, this year will prove to shake up the formula just a bit. No matter where you play, you will have a chance to contribute to the Global Challenges and help players achieve the Ultra Unlocks.
The two-day global GO Fest event on June 4, 2022, and June 5, 2022 will feature hourly Global Challenges. Players will have to complete at least 20 of these in order to trigger the Ultra Unlock bonuses during Adventure Week. This sounds easy enough, but who knows what we will be asked to do. All I know is we will have to work together.
During GO Fest Berlin, if Trainers complete the Global Challenge, we will be able to unlock bonuses during the Anniversary Event. GO Fest Seattle and Sapporo will also have Global Challenges. If we are able to complete them, they will both trigger Ultra Unlocks during a “To-be-revealed event.” Wether these are the same event or two different events are yet to be seen. But you can be sure we will have all the details, when they are available.
With each passing month, we get new Research Breakthrough Rewards, new Spotlight Hours and new Pokémon rotating through Raids. Let’s take a look at what you can expect to find this month.
From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT July 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, the Research Breakthrough encounter will be Klink. This Klink does have the potential to be Shiny. Be sure to collect at least one Field Research every day so you can maximize the number of Klink you can encounter.
Every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. look forward to the Following Pokémon appearing more frequently, along with a special bonus.
