Since the announcement of Pokémon Sword and Shield we’ve had some great artwork posted by PXR’s artists and today we’re spotlighting all of them for their great work!
Arrow-Jolteon
To start us off, let’s look at these new sheep friends! For the longest time Mareep only had one other sheep friend in the form of Whimsicott, but now it’s got Wooloo! Woohoo!
Next up a piece featuring the new starters having some fun! Grookey has set the beat and now it’s time to dance! Scorbunny is leading the way and while Sobble isn’t sure how to follow, I’m sure it’ll get the hang of it. They look like they’re having a lot of fun!
Blaquaza
With the advent of 3D models, making sprites for the new Pokémon each generation has become a blossoming community! PXR is fortunate enough to have one of our own spriter working to make sure all these new Pokémon get the sprites they deserve! Starting out with the starters, we’ve got some adorable poses and shiny predictions!
Then after that we’ve got some awesome sprites featuring some more newly released Pokémon, Drednaw and Yamper, looking both adorable and fierce. They’re ready to battle in any generation! We’ve got even more shiny predictions here too. I am loving these color schemes!
NobleJanobii
Look at this piece that shows off the personalities of the Galar starters! Grookey is banging on the drum, Scorbunny is ready to play soccer, and Sobble is having a great time watching them both play.
This new corgi has taken the Pokémon fandom by storm. There’s lot of love for Yamper, and it loves you too!
Roo
Wooloo’s fluff is something to behold! And Roo sure thinks so too, making this already adorable Pokémon more adorable and fluffier than before!
But the adorableness doesn’t stop there! Roo also made a Scorbunny piece that really emphasizes the rabbit features of this starter and brings out even more of its charm.
