Pokemon Day is coming! Are you ready to celebrate together?
Pokemon was first release on February 27, 1996 in Japan with Pokemon Red & Blue. Twenty-seven years later, Pokemon fans have come together to play, trade, and love Pokemon together.
A single franchise has brought people together. It has help create bonds of friendship. Create a sense of community. This very same franchise has even helped people find love. Overall, it has brought people together.
And this is the theme that Pokemon wants to celebrate this year and for Pokemon Day 2023. The idea of connecting trainers together in old and new ways. From all the way in the days of Pokemon Red & Blue to now with Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
Pokemon Day is on February 27th but you can start celebrating now! You can start “Celebrating Pokemon Together” by posting photos and videos showing your love for Pokemon and your favorite memories on social media. This could be a picture of the friends you have made to just sharing stories of your favorite Pokemon memories. Make sure to tag your posts with #PokemonTogether!
If you do then your post may be included in a mosaic in the style of a Pokeball that will be revealed on Pokemon Day! The official Pokemon social media channels will also be sharing #PokemonTogether testimonials from different fans to help inspired other trainers to share their own stories.
Pokemon has brought many people together. All with a sense of adventure and friendship. I certainly know it has brought me many friends in the last twenty five years. Certainly it has done the same.
