Time to descents upon gyms for raids!
That is because you can now find Drugddigon in Pokemon GO. Along with many other Dragon Pokemon as the doors of the historical cave site slowly open! That is because of the new event in Pokemon GO, Dragonspiral Descent!
Event Details
Dragonspiral Descent pays homage to Dragonsprial Tower in the Unova region. This location in the Pokemon region is where you can find Druddigon who will now be in Pokemon GO.
Though, you find that the opening of these doors has unleash several different Fire, Electric and Ice type Pokemon. This could tie somehow to the Unova’s Legendary Dragon Pokemon: Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem.
The event started yesterday, Tuesday, December 7th and will last until Sunday, December 12th at 8AM.
How to find Druddigon
If you are on the hunt for the new addition, Druddigon, then you will have to hit the raids. Druddigon can be found in Three Star raids.
And if you are lucky, then you may be able to spot a Druddigon that is Shiny!
The fact that you can find Druddigon in Three Star Raids could be a reference to how you can find Druddigon in Dragonspiral Tower. The gyms are similar to towers. Also, Druddigon does resembles a gargoyle which resides on top of tall buildings.
So make sure to use your daily free Raid Pass from spinning a PokemStop at gyms. You can also redeem to weekly One PokeCoin Bundle to get a Remote Raid Pass. There is also an Event Box containing three Remote Raid Pass in the Shop for 175.
Wild Encounters
You can find the following Pokemon in the wild during the Dragonspiral Descent.
- Vulpix*
- Seel*
- Dratini*
- Mareep*
- Sneasel*
- Trapinch*
- Blitzle*
- Darumaka*
If you are lucky then you may find these Pokemon in the wild.
- Dragonair
- Vibrava
- Deino*
*Denotes that the Pokemon could be Shiny.
Collection Challenge
A Collection Challenge will be running during this event. This event will require you to capture all the Pokemon that could be found in the wild.
If you complete the challenge then you could earn 1000XP, 3000 Stardust and an encounter with Druddigon.
The Collection Challenge will be the free way to get Druddigon without participating in Raids.
