The first Pokemon TCG set for 2015 has been announced to be called Emerald Break. The name for this set may be a reference to Rayquaza’s involvement in the Delta Episode in Pokemon OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire. Emerald Break will focus and feature Rayquaza EX and M Rayquaza EX. These two cards will be Dragon typed. It is unsure what the other Pokemon or types that will be featured in this set.
Emerald Break will contain 78 new cards. Also release on this date will be a “Battle Deck Mega Rayquaza-EX”. This will be a 60 card deck that will contain 3 Rayquaza EX, 2 M Rayquaza EX and several exclusive Trainer cards. The cards from this deck may end up being included in the English equivalent of Emerald Break.
Several products will be release along side with Emerald Break including M Rayquaza EX sleeves, deck box and binder.
Emerald Break will release in Japan on March 14th, 2015.
