Yeah the GCEA story didn't turn out quite like I wanted it but with the time crunch that was kind of to be expected. Oh well. Whatever.

I'll work on my absol fusion later. Right now I'm just going to focus on writing and such.

Yeah I don't know either because even though I'm staff I still don't get told things from time to time.

Yeah, I had no idea what to do for a story. At least you got something out there.

But yeah, I just don't want to start over. Sure, we only got to Viridian Forest, but even just that took a while to get to, and I burned away a lot of points along the way.

In the meantime, I'm not sure what this new GCEA: Fire Red thing is for. I really, really hope Max isn't expecting everyone in Resurgent Red and Gaia Green to start over. But, if that's the case, I think I'd just drop out of GCEA entirely.

I'm sure you won't be starting over, everyone will just be teleported to a particular point in the story (probably wherever Red is up to) so that the people from Green can join the group and everyone's on the same page. The new thread is probably just for organisation, don't worry. :)

Whew, okay, that's very good to know.

And yeah, it's like DCC, but with an extra push to chat because if you stop, other people may win! And I don't want my winning streak to get broken. XD

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I contacted my first two potential agents this morning. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm not holding my breath. It's just the first two, I'm taking a page out of the pessimist's playbook and expecting rejection letters galore, but I'm definitely with the mindset that keeps saying "hey, no biggie, keep going." Plus, I think folding paper cranes out of rejection letters would be sarcastic fun for everyone. XD

The first one just wanted the query letter, whereas the second wanted a full-blown submission of query, synopsis, and the first thirty pages, which thankfully I all had prepared in advance. And yeah, it does feel a lot like job searching. It's definitely WAY more fun to write the actual stories.
