At one point earlier this year the wifi went out in my dorm, but not the entire dorm, just the first floor, and not even the entire first floor, just our side of it. And we called maintenance and they were like "call the IT department we can't fix that" so I did and they were like "there's obviously not a problem if the entire floor wasn't affected". So then, me being a person who actually knows how routers and such work, I tried to ask if there was a router or something on our side of the floor because if there was then it probably meant that router was down. And OF COURSE they don't give me some straight answer about it because, and I quote, "you don't work here so you wouldn't understand the mechanics of it."

I remember the time I got banned from the campus wi-fi.

I was helping with a Pokemon RPG. For April Fool's, we wanted to replace every sprite in the database with Bidoof. So I had to do a mass download of the image database for backup and then re-upload it all with a few thousand bidoof sprites. Apparently, the campus internet thought this was highly suspicious. It was only about 12k files. =D
