Well the day has come. I'm running for Student Senate and polls close at 11:59. Not sure when I'll get some results but I'm hoping for the best. I've got a backup plan though just in case.

We discuss legislation that helps better the campus, anything from increasing recycling bins to working on approving budgets for clubs.

Well one thing I plan to do is get more funding for the fencing club if i can. :P

Also I always forget why Ash Wednesday is one of my favorite days of the year until someone "reminds" me that I have dirt on my forehead.

I always totally forget about it. I'll admit, I don't really practice the whole lent thing. It kind of just seems like a needless ritual.

I'll admit, I haven't been going to church lately for a the past few weeks. The exercise class I like to take is on Sunday morning, so it's either exercise or go to mass and I can't do both since they're at the same time. Thing is, I've heard the readings countless times already and the rest is just prayer repetition. At least with the exercise class, I'm helping my body remain strong and stay healthy.

I was twenty minutes late because I couldn't find parking, parked illegally, walked four blocks, stood in the pouring rain because there was no room inside, got my ashes and Communion, and didn't get a ticket. It's a good day.
