Yeah, depending on who sees things like that as the kind of necessary workforce that they are looking for.

Yeah which is often my trouble. I've got work experience buuuut not the necessary stuff.
That's what's so hard about getting any job these days. To get a job, you need "experience." Not all college classes provide said "experience" every job wants from you. So how do they expect anyone new to come into the field without prior hands-on experience? It makes it nearly impossible to even get taken into consideration. That's something these jobfields need to start understanding. You can only do so much without getting that first job. Even with that job you need certain specifications. Then it's good to make friends in that job to make sure they know you and can be used as references for future jobs. Getting as much training as possible in that job is also good. so if it's possible. Try talking to your bosses as see how you can branch out and do more. That way it's only more towards future resumes.
Thing is we all know us not that simple anymore. Neo can attest to that

Maybe in the future it'll change but not now.
Job fields are always changing. To meet certain standards for employee, customers, the world, and the business. So maybe one day, but as things and how the world is right now. Sadly it's not possible

Well on the bright side I'm technically employed now. Not paid but I'm employed so.
Bingo! College doesn't really prepare you that well for work life. You learn about the concepts of the job and that field, not the actual practice of it. You need internships for that kind of experience.
I, for one, made the brutal mistake of underestimating internships during my college years. I was like "durr, I don't feel like working for free. Let me focus on my classes instead!" No, at least do something part-time if you can. And do an internship that has meaning. The only one I did during my junior year of college was for a financial advising firm and yet I was neither interested in that kind of work or majoring in finance. So, it was useless and I don't even have it on my resume anymore. My brother, on the other hand, started his internship during college and HE'S STILL WORKING FOR THE COMPANY AS A FULL TIME EMPLOYEE, TWELVE YEARS LATER. Am I jelly? Very jelly. SUPER jelly. (jealous)
I mean I'm full time at the retail store I work at. It took half a year to get full time and even now I've been moved around so much in positions. Will I stay at this job for long? Who knows, but it isn't enough to get through my entire life. That's for sure. I'll need to look around again. Hopefully for something tha can get bills paid when they come. It'd be nice if my dad gets that job back in New Mexico and I can get in there too. He got paid 80ish per hour out there and for the first year they paid for his lunch, a place to stay, and a flight home each month. Now, they're offering him 90+ an hour, but anytime they ask he tells them he wants $100 and perdium back. He'd rather be here with family than be alone over there just for that.
Even if he did go back and managed to get me on there. I doubt I'd be making close to what he makes. Maybe at least a third.

I have to wait until April of next year before I start getting paid. *sigh*
Hey you've got time! Anything can happen between now and then too!
