It was pretty fun writing Blue whale. It got a little rushed when I realized I was running up against the deadline, but still. certainly doesn't hold a candle to Nobles' writing. It's actually inspired by some true stories if you're ever interested in reading about it.

I have a morbid interest in serial killers, but suicide and self-harm seriously unsettle me, so no offense but I'm not super interested in reading more, sorry. When it comes to secretive and somewhat lethal games I think I'll just stick to listening to waiting for the next season of Rabbits...

Whew, ok, entries done, final judging done, I think I can finally start reading Butterfly Epoch now. But seriously Noble, you were definitely rocking it out in just about everything for PXFIRE. You were amazing from start to finish!

Crazy to think PXFIRE is done and finished already, save for the final scoring. Sure went by fast, but it was fun and I like it more than WAR.

Well like I previously mentioned I'm planning to rewrite it in a more chapter friendly bite sized format so if you don't want to read it just yet I'm working on that right now.

Aww thanks! I enjoyed this much more than I did WAR. I remember once in WAR I asked a judge if I could enter a drawing because I had a great idea for the theme but since at the time my scanner was a BW scanner it would have to not be in the color. The judge said sure then when it came time to judge mine they said I lost points because it wasn't in color. I was so mad.

Color or not. A drawing entry is what it is. Maybe it's meant to be that way. So when it came to things like that I didn't take off points for "no color." Every judge is different though.

It was... Well. A VERY close competition. I think the entries were all good but in wildly different genres.

I love how you are so excited about the Sjøs. XD I was trying to eat lunch while reading that and I had to stop after laughing so hard that I nearly choked on a chip. And yeah, I wasn't as careful with grammar this time. Gonna go back and redo stuff in the future.

Also, Zhamós, that character that I intended to be bad but then turned out to be good, but also might still be bad. We're not sure what he is. If the symbols on his horns are anything to go by though, he's more of a morally gray.

Also I will point out there was going to be a Yorktown reference at one point, with Azrael's prototype character being named Hercules. And our resident Sjø was going to be a nod to Lafayette but I could never find a good way to integrate a Yorktown or the World Was Wide Enough into the story without it disrupting the flow of the story. With the Room Where it Happens at the beginning, it was light hearted and fits quite well with their characters anyway.

I really wanted to do more with Making Mad but I just didn't have the time. It got to be "do or die" day and I had to wrap things up sooner than expected. I also realized I missed a few silly typos in there because I only gave it one proofread and that was it. It was still a fun story to write, though.

And sure, if you'd rather revise Butterfly Epoch first before I give it a peek, I'll hold off.
