I remember being so excited cause the Pikachu GBC came with Yellow version. I went crazy at that game playing it with Pikachu. Even got a purple carrying case with Pikachu on it not long after. Carried all my GBC games in it. Ah, the memories.

I never owned a gameboy. wasn't old enough.
I used to own a Gameboy Advance, but it broke.

My first my gaming device was a DS Lite.
Super Nintendo followed closely by Gameboy then N64 and GBC. Was fun times, Some N64 games being hidden gems you don't hear much about. Bad reviews or not, I still wish I had got to play Hey You, Pikachu!

My first was the original NES. It's true, it does help if you blow on the cartridges! My first game was the Mario Bros / Duck Hunt combo game that came with it. I'm pretty sure the original Legend of Zelda came next. Boom, those nifty games were my childhood.
I still have them, but I don't even know how to hook it up to a modern day flatscreeen. It's not like HDMI was a thing back then. :P
My first gaming console was the special edition Pikachu N64. (I was a huge pokemon fan before I even played the games) I think I had like two games for it, which were Pokemon Stadium 1+2. Then I got a Gamecube & Gameboy Player so I could play pokemon Sapphire even though I didn't have a GBA. (Though I later got a hand-me-down GBC & GBA, and a big load of pokemon games :D)
I have played on an N64 but it wasn't my first console.
I got to play all those at a friend's house because his older brother had the NES. Duck Hunt, MARIO Bros, you name it xD.
Yeah, blowing into the cartridges at times was needed. Although they said that and cleaning it was bad for the game. Sometimes they wouldn't read and work right otherwise. Still one of my favorites on the N64 is Mystical Ninja. Such a hidden gem of a game that I wish they were still porting it here (because they're still being made in Japan. At least last I checked xD). Great music, funny and engaging story, it was unique for sure. Gotta go back and play ito e day....again xD
