I'm in Savannah Georgia right now and there's been talks about evacuation going on. Our flight out is on Saturday, so we should be out of there just in time before the chaos hits. Hopefully it doesn't get delayed or cancelled.

I hope you guys don't run into any problems either.

Aww, too bad. If you were here in Georgia a little longer I could've come down to meet you. The evacuation would probably make it pretty.....impossible though. Not as much going there, but coming back

So I was wrong. I was very very VERY wrong. The Irma model just showed that I am right in hurricane strike zone. We'll be hit Tuesday at 8 AM. Knowing my United States Foreign Policy professor, we're still gonna have class even if we lose power. I'm already starting to try and figure out about preparing food bags and such in case I can't get inside a building or something because most of our buildings on campus require you to have a key card to get inside.

Yeah the model changed again today. It's a better chance for a direct hit here and stretching through South Carolina. They're saying it's not gonna be so much as the rain, but the wind and possible tornados with the storm. Bad part here is....I gotta work on Monday when it's supposed to hit here. The model prediction right now says "Monday morning, tropical storm conditions. Throughout the day, tropical storm or hurricane conditions with winds 40-60 mph. At night tropical storm conditions, winds 30-50 then decreasing to 25-40." So it's gonna be a rough ride. It may not even be safe to be out so. Unless they're using the store as a shelter I dunno if it'll even be open. I doubt anyone will be like "hey I need a basketball or soccer ball. Heck, why not go get some bait. I wanna fish! Uhhh, it 60mph winds? Heck yeah!" No...just.........no

That's like what I told my mom when she was worried about cutting the grass. I told her "no one will be cutting the grass in that storm. I can see it now. Someone dressed in the old style pilot gear. Scarf and googles ad all on their riding lawnmower like, "I'M REEEEEAAALLY FEELING IT!""

Been waiting for a Steam sale, too. A few of my online friends keep playing a game called Armello and it does seem intriguing. They wouldn't be clocking in so many hours if the game was just blah.

I've actually had that on my wishlist for ages, it looks pretty good. So far it's only gone on sale when I have no money though. Maybe I should blow all my cash, that'll make a huge sale come :P
