I thought that way about crumpling cars too! But then I recently read about how they're designed that way on purpose because if they crumple they take the impact if you're hit hard so you're less likely to get hurt badly. So they're actually way safer even though it's counterintuitive. My car is a bit old and pretty solid which I always thought was good but apparently not haha. It would be nice if cars could take smaller impacts without getting wrecked but I guess it's one way or the other.

Yeah, the logic behind it is to save lives apparently. I saw that somewhere too.

I think my mom's car is pretty good in both departments? I know it's fairly fuel efficient, like 18-25 mpg which isn't awful. That sucker can take quite the punch though. Like, it has scratches and scrapes, but not many dents. It took me popping a curb and ramming into a full trashcan and a tree for the mirror to get knocked off.

My car has a few tiny dents and there's a white scuff mark on the left side that was either from the garage or from another car.

I've been meaning to buy some touch up paint and kept forgetting by the time I got back on my computer. Thanks for the reminder! XD

Trying to post a simple cheap way to try and win by posting nothing, but a single word. I still stand by what I said awhile back that the winning post needs to be relavent and not just something like one word just to post trying to win. XD pictures don't count in that category. Cause I think crazy and wacky pictures could work. Just keep it under the rules of the forum and PG.....ish.
