I really enjoy Yosko (a local Japanese steakhouse here) too much sometimes. It doesn't help that it's only a few blocks away from my work either.

I LOVE sushi, but crap, it's not cheap. Or at least the good stuff isn't cheap.

I've had the cheap stuff. Bleh.

One of these days I should try making my own sushi. There's so many varieties and there's plenty of room to make your own.

I think it's just preparing the rice that takes a long time.

The difference between real, steamed rice and the crappy minute rice stuff is so obvious. Sure, the minute rice stuff ends up being like twenty minutes faster, but it doesn't taste nearly as good and doesn't have that nice fluffiness to it.

Shhhhh I like all rice. It's good stuff, especially with butter.
