    Thanks for the concern everyone. For safety in case anyone here is squimish I'll hide the update and what's going on.

    Spoiler:
    so yesterday after feeling discomfort I got my brother (who is a nursing student) to listen to my breathing. He thought it sounded odd and did some online research to listen for what sound he's looking for while we called our mom (who was a nurse for years). They got back and she listened and said the same thing. They weren't sure, so we went to get an x-ray as a precaution. We called ahead to see if the same lady was there that diagnosed me with it last time. They said she was and they would let her know it was an emergency. So we get there, sign in and sit for about a minute score she comes out and calls us ahead of one other group. They took us to the room and told me to go ahead and come out and my mom can stay in the room while I got weighed and the scans. After that I was taken back to the room while they processed. A few moments later, she comes back in saying I do have another psnuemothorax (collapsing of the lung). She showed us the images and yeah, we could clearly see it.

    Extra: so most of you know I'm a Christian, believe in God and the religion. I just can't turn away oddities like that. That only show me how lucky and blessed God has been to look after me. Why mention that here? Well, oddly enough...the same doctor was not even supposed to be in that day. It was her day off and she was just filling in for someone. How odd that things happen that way.

    Anyway, luckily, unlike last time. I was stable this time and didn't need an ambulance. So my mom drove me. We got to the ER and we got up to the desk yesterday and they got us in really quick. It took them awhile to set up, but my dad and brother were rushing down. My brother wanted to be the one in the room and watching this time being a nursing student. I figured since this time they were giving me anestisia that I'd let him (last time I didn't need it and I wasn't surrounded by nursing students. There was 3 + my brother xD). Anyway they got the chest tube in and I feel better except my back hurts a lot. Last time I hurt so much I couldn't move without help or pretty much anything. If anyone so much as touched the tube I was in a lot of pain. This time, however, I'm able to move myself, touch the tube (to an extent), and really only my back severely hurts.

    So we thought I'd be out of here in a few days like last time, but we talked with one of the specialist surgeons today after barely any sleep at all last night. He talked with us about another procedure. One we heard of last time if it ever happened again. This procedure would help prevent this from happening again by a significant amount. They will completely put me under this time with sedation. So I won't even be conscious. They'll make 3 more slots open near the tube, one for a camera to see inside any blebs or blurbs I think he called it. That are causing this to happen. He would fix those and hopefully it'll fix my issue.

    But there's always the chance he won't see anything. So if he doesn't see any abrasions, he will create his own. This'll will make it so IF it tries to happen again, it'll only make it collapse part way. Not like how it did these last few times. So if I go through with this surgery. It'll be tomorrow sometime. I'll be here with a chest tube in me until at least Friday. Then I'll need 2-3 weeks off from work.

    So keep me in your thoughts and prayer everyone. Hopefully the recovery and the aftermath of this surgery isn't to bad. Hopefully he finds everything and the surgery is a complete success with no issues. Hopefully it goes completely according to plan. If or when I can tomorrow I'll update you guys again. Hopefully it fixed the issue too. So I never have to go through this ever again. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I wouldn't wish a lung collapse on even my worst enemy. It's that bad ;o;
    We'll be keeping you in our thoughts, dude. It's a relief that at least this time isn't as bad as the last one; it'll probably mean a speedier and hopefully more stable recovery. Just try to take it easy, okay? Best of luck.

    I don't know what denomination you are but as a catholic one thing we do is pray to saints that are patrons of certain things. I'll list the ones I'll be praying to and what they're patrons of if anyone wants to pray to them. St. Bernadine of Siena is the patron Saint of lung and respiratory issues. St. Pio of Pietrelcina is the patron of pain, suffering, and healing. St. Luke the Evangelist is the patron of surgery. St. Rita is the patron of wounds. Feel free to look up more but these are the main ones I will be praying to.

    Yeah, I know other Catholics that pray to saints, but I just pray directly to God.

    Hopefully this all works out, Eric. Stay safe and be strong.

    I've always found more solace in praying to the saints. Not sure why. But to each their own, it's not like there's any wrong to who you pray to.

    It could be because saints are given specific designations. Like, say, let's pretend that your TV is broken and needs to be repaired, but it might be costly and make a huge dent on your wallet, so you pray to the patron saints of TV and Money to give you guidance. In a way it can feel more effective than praying directly to God. I personally don't lean towards either or, though I do pray directly to God more often (mostly because it's hard to remember all those saints and which one is the patron of which thing XD)

    Yeah maybe. Honestly I've always loved the idea of patron saints and often use them in my stories involving demon hunters because it's just something I absolutely love. And you think I can remember all of them? Honey, that's what Google is for. Of the four I listed earlier, the only ones I knew off the top of my head were Luke and Rita, and that's only because Luke was a doctor so it's easy to remember and Rita is the patron Saint for a friend of mine so I just remember it. The only other ones I know off the top of my head are St. Francis of Assisi (he's animals among other things, since he's my patron I kind of have to know), St. Elijah (he's sleep and I know because I just used him in a story), and St. Catherine of Siena (she's artists and I know because I have been chosen to be a sponsor for someone this year and this is her Saint).

    Being Methodist I pray directly to God myself as well. Doesn't matter if you pray to God or Saints to me. A prayer is a prayer and I appreciate the well thoughts everyone.
    @Noblejanobii @Arrow-Jolteon

    Yesterday was the surgery though. Now it's much more discomforting. I can hardly move around myself. I barely got any sleep last night, but hopefully it's worth it in the end and the surgery does its job. Making my lung never collapsing again. The doctor didn't see any of the blurbs around the lung. He said they looked really healthy in fact. So he did the sandpaper like process. Taking off some of the apex. Pressing the lung more against the chest wall. Basically if it did try to happen again, it wouldn't be a full collapse. It would only collapse partially. So we can only hope and pray that this is the last time this ever happens.

    Thank you guys for the well thoughts and prayers! Hugs for you all!

    The time is upon us...

    YES, here's to hoping this will be the very last time you have to deal with this! I'm glad you're pushing through this. Surgery and medical issues are VERY SCARY stuff, but you seem like you're handling it well.

    You'll pull through this, dude!

    There's been times when I've been the only registered member on, also (usually at odd hours). Not sure where all these guests are coming from though, but I imagine most of them are ad bots that aren't able to register because of the security checks in place there.

    I shudder to think what it would be like if there were no checks and all six-dozen or so of those bots were free to spam as much garbage as they wanted... o.o
