So. I got accused of being racist today at work because I asked to check someone's bag and she happened to be Asian. The white middle aged guy with her got all huffy and accused me of only asking her because she's Asian. Mind you, my work has been cracking down on bag checks and we literally have to check ALL bags except handbags because a lot of people have been stealing recently. The colour of someone's skin or the way they look has never affected the way I've treated anyone before in my entire LIFE and I got so upset that he assumed I was doing it based on something like that! I was like "Um actually I've been checking everyone's bag" and he's like "Or did you just check hers because she's Asian?" Like wtf?? Why would her ethnicity make a difference to me checking her bag?? xD Like huh? I had been checking everyone I could because otherwise I legitimately get pulled up for it and even though I told him that, he just kept persisting and UUGGHHH the whole thing was extremely unpleasant and I nearly cried afterwards because I felt so judged and violated in a way. Like he was attacking my dignity and character even though he has no idea who I even am. xD Some people are just so awful! I don't get it! How can you treat someone like that? O_o I always try my hardest to be so polite to everyone I greet and then you get people like him, who probably just try to pick fights with anyone. I was so mad afterwards. xD He was like "I'm gonna come in next time and see if you're checking everyone's bag." WTF??!?! So creepy! Dx

You have douchebags, super douchebags, and then every now and then, you come along very special douchebags like this one that send their best regards to Satan in very aggravating ways. D:<

You were doing your job. You have nothing to be ashamed about and nothing to feel bad about. This sounds like one of those narcissistic, condescending, special douchebags that are the kinds of people that cut you off on the highway, cut in line, think they're cute when they lie, cheat, and steal, and act like it's all okay and they can treat anyone however they want. These people are not worth your time, breath, money, or aggravation. They are out doing the devil's work and they're trying to drag you down with them.

Xanthe, you are an AWESOME person regardless of what these kinds of special douchebags say to you. SHAME on that special douchebag for doing that to you, because I'd personally like to tie his underwear into a pretzel while he's still wearing it, dip it all in hot sauce, sprinkle some paprika on it for good measure, and then make good use of it for battling practice with a baseball bat that's actually made of cactus.
