Yick, same. I tried watching the X and Y anime but it was just painful. I felt like the anime had lost a lot of its charm. Possibly because the same guy wrote the first five seasons or something, right? Up until Master Quest (which was his last). When the voices changed, it was all too painful for me and I had to watch it subbed. But like I said, it was still painful so I stopped altogether. :P

I like going for the orange and yellow properties, along with the railroads. Destroys everyone. XD No one likes to play Monopoly with me.

Also the anime died for me after Hoenn. Up until then it was alright.

I only watched up to where Pikachu learned the now iconic Iron Tail and stopped. Then tried watching Black and White which didn't last too long for me. I watched the league of X and Y, but nothing really outside that and the first 12episodes xD.

I haven't even started or tried Sun and Moon yet. It lost that "wow" factor to me since Hoenn

I've tried watching everything after, but the anime lost its appeal to me real fast. ;c It's so childish and lame these days. Pretty much EVERYONE has said they'd like a more "adult" anime, like the Black/White trailers and some of the shorts, but nothing has happened with any of those so far.

Sinnoh actually came pretty close to that. It's probably the most overlooked region in the anime when it comes to people I talked to. They always talk about how it was lost after Hoenn but Sinnoh was freaking intense. They actually killed someone in that region and everything! It was crazy.

Five or six people and at least three pokemon if you count Cyrus and everyone that was on J's ship when it sunk. That doesn't even include whatever pokemon J's crew and Cyrus had on them at the time or whatever pokemon were on J's ship as statues. This is the episode where it all goes down. If I copied the link correctly it'll start you where you should start watching to understand the whole scene. Their deaths aren't on screen but it is VERY HEAVILY implied.

EDIT: Also I thought @Caite-chan might like to know that James is as sassy as ever in this episode, stating the phrase "Dear me, my innate fashion sensing instincts are telling me Team Galactic must be on the premises."
