Well, I contacted five more literary agents today. Seriously, this process is SO MUCH like sending in resumes and it's just as boring and tiring reading the submission requirements and tailoring each query letter and submission sample accordingly. Some of them seem like a really good match and I'm crossing my fingers, but others are kind of an iffy gamble. We'll see. If it works out, awesomesauce! If not, hey, I get better at paper cranes. Win/win either way.

I still have a LONG list of other agents that can be contacted, so it's not like I'm running out of leads. If I run out of agents for New York City, I just move over to looking for ones in Philly instead. I'd drive all the way over there if it means an agent deal.
