Once my parents got a ticket because they parked in a spot so that I could unpack some stuff from the trunk to take to my dorm room and because we didn't pay the meter despite not even being there five minutes we got a ticket. They're snakes. Absolute snakes. I've even seen them purposely block people into certain spots until their meter ran out so they could give them a ticket.

It would make sense that in order for you to be forgiven for your sins, you need to do remedial work and volunteer-like stuff for it.
