Yeah for Shaymin they had a DS carrying case, a stylus, keychains, etc.

Yeah. The only reason the shaymin stuff existed though was for Platinum promotional stuff. There was so much of it, it makes me wonder if Shaymin was originally intended to have a larger role in Platinum. Like they only made two of these carrying cases and the other one was origin giratina so it just makes me wonder.

It probably was meant to. Which is why they moved it to Explorers of Sky instead and the movies. For awhile there they released them kind of in bulks as legendaries. At least for some and only some promotional events

I don't mind that. Explorers of Sky was so much greater because of shaymin.
