Okay I'll probably go back and edit in the kill then. Phoebe is the only Onyx Circle member in that group right? (Just gotta make sure) And Athena can and will go after Queen Taiya if that's the path she's required to take to get her son back. Though I'm more excited in waiting to see if anyone will pick up on a secret Athena's been keeping that I've dropped a hint for every single post up until now.

So, define kill off a character, because it really depends on how you define that. I axed a few NPCs in the past but I'm not sure those really count because they're not like official RP characters, they're NPCs. Does that make sense? Perceval kinda falls into a gray area but I'd even argue if I had axed him it wouldn't have really counted as my killing off someone because he wasn't really developed all that much. Even worse some of the ones that died (like Madeline in PXRASE) were technically already dead. Where the line gets really tricky is in the other "A Single Element" RPs. Across the various iterations of the RP, I've created a ton of characters and wrote a variety of stories with them. Thing is, most of them were created already slated to die. I just sorta wrote their stories up until that point. So would that count? I'm not sure.
Oh, I mean yeah, I have killed off characters that did have a sign up made for them. NPCs that just have names are NPCs that I don't mind if they die by the truckload. I come up with these characters so fast that it really doesn't faze me if they die.

I have a few characters that I wouldn't WANT to see die, but if they did, eh, I'd work around it. I think the character I've enjoyed RPing the most, and I've used her several times for other RPs, was Janine Price from WAR Season 1 on PXR. The crazy girl scientist (who could be considered a mad scientist) but is really into cute things and treats everything like it's fun and no big deal. The best was how other characters reacted to her. Especially Tazz. That was priceless and she was just a lot of fun to make posts for.

Although, admittedly, I hadn't given Kirrun a whole lot of development...

Xavier is actually a character I've used often and have developed a lot. That doesn't stop me from blinding him though.

Honestly most RPs I've been in don't really have high bodycounts...

Also Neo, I've actually already read through your story... I think I'll refrain from commenting on it until I distribute grades. I did enjoy it though. :3
Yeah, that's the thing, a lot of my characters that I'm quick to drop don't get a lot of development or it's development I am okay with forgoing.

Also, glad you enjoyed Chronoshock! I think if I had more time, I probably would have developed it further and made more to it, but it was still a fun, short story to crank out. To me, first person stories just feel more fun to write, but there are occasions, like in the RP, where third person is kind of a necessity.

Yeah, NPCs I usually don't count towards the death toll because if I did they'd probably be up in the millions. Never killed a character with a sign up before I don't believe.

I had one time there was this one RP that it was like impossible for a character not to die but I was so ball bit determined to not lose this character that if I remember correctly I had him coordinate a rebellion in Helll and bust out, escaping death. Good times.

I mean while worked up a little story to kinda fill a small story until I can work a way to get Tina with another I just kinda showed made something for now. Not having too much experience with RPing I kinda just went with it. Learning more as I go. I'm hoping I don't do something to screw up too bad. Even so it seems like it's a lot of coming up with things, but following the story and rules when it's time.

    The time is upon us...

Oh yeah, I've had characters die and go to some kind of afterlife. Of course, it ends up being a kind of "time out" for a while, but it does make things interesting. Some people might think it's god-modding, but generally, I think it's fine.

And geez, I've got to hurry the frick up with Drawn Art. Problem is I've got such a busy day tomorrow, too. Exercise class in the morning, concert later tomorrow night, and then Game of Thrones. Frick. And I've got to have everything done, coloring, background, and all that other stuff ready because there's no way in oblivion I'm going to have any time on Monday to throw it in before 5PM.

I at least have the line art for Lopunny and Gardevoir done. Just need to do Medicham's and then it's quickly crank out the color time. I hope I can pull this off, because the character art looks GREAT and it would be a shame if that dinky concept of RUNNING OUT OF TIME screwed me over for this one. :P

    YOU CAN DO IT NEO!

I know what you mean about the time thing, though. I'm really going to have to rush my week 4 drawing if I want to get it done before I leave.

I can't wait to see yours though it sounds awesome!

I think it just really depends on the setting of the story. If there's magic or if the rules of reality are bendable then I say it's fair game. Heck, in PXRASE, I had three dead people come back to life in a parallel dimension. It wouldn't be the first nor the last time I've pulled weird antics like that.

Best of luck to you, mate. Here's to hoping you finish your picture and I find a good stopping point for my story sometime soon.

THANKS! Hopefully this works out well. :3 I still have tomorrow afternoon to do it, but it's going to be dicey. Good luck with your picture, also, though I know it's going to be awesome!

That's true in the fact that screwing around too much with afterlife fluff might spoil the story. If the time and setting is right, sure, but there are a few cases where it might not work.

And thanks, just finished Medicham's line art, so that's all done for all three of them! They look great and I made some nice DAZZLING poses for them! Considering it's the first time I've drawn Gardevoir and Medicham, I'm pretty darn satisfied with how it turned out. It's the kind of thing that's good to the point where if by freak chance I can't pull it off in time, it's definitely worth completing anyway. I just gotta go color crazy tomorrow. The background may not be as fancy or intricate as the surfing Pikachu sunset, but I'll see what I can do with the time I've got left. It's made me want to revisit the Here Comes Team Charm special episode, but... yeahhhh, I don't really have the time to do that. XD

And hey, all the best with your story, also! Stopping points are definitely hard. It's like saying goodbye to all the great characters you've created and met and the fun time you've enjoyed together.

Yeah. Works in some settings. Doesn't work in others. Also depends on who you are roleplaying with too.

Ah man that was always my second favorite special episode! It was soooo good. Can't wait to see your picture. Obviously it won't be as good as my dazzling gleam of rainbow mimikyu and shaymin but you know it'll be good.

Ah god I KNOW. It's why I am definitely coming back to this later.

Also that awkward moment where you add a butterfly character that you intended to kill off later but then get too attached to it in the short time that it's around so then it's just like "WELL I GUESS THEY HAVE A PET BUTTERFLY NOW."

EDIT: FINALLY!!!!!!! IT IS FINISHED!!! GO JOIN MUZAPO, ANTIOCH, HABILTÍS, JAMOHEIT, RAVEN, AND SO MANY OTHERS ON THE TEMPORAL ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME IN THE BUTTERFLY EPOCH! AND YES BEFORE YOU ASK THAT IS THE BEST TITLE I COULD COME UP WITH.

Noble, I am currently reading through your story.
This is the only comment I will share with you before my grading.
I can't stop hearing Muzapo as being voiced by Leslie Odom Jr now.
