In the meantime, our hotel just told us we need to check out because of the hurricane. A mandatory evacuation is set for tomorrow. I'm just hoping we can get to the airport and get on our flight without any trouble.

Yeah it's already windy over in Jacksonville and that's pretty close. If for any reason you can't get a flight out and need a place let me know. We've got room here and don't mind helping you guys out. It's a drive up north to Augusta, but it's a place to stay with food, water, and such

Thanks! My plan right now is to take an Uber early tomorrow morning and head to the airport. If we were to leave now, we'd just be stuck and have to sleep at the airport. That might be overkill.

I'm just hoping traffic won't be an issue tomorrow.

From what I've seen on live coverage. The road up north is not looking very friendly. Lot of people from Florida coming up. I'm assuming the same is around there too and coming in off from the coast. So just let me know tomorrow if you can't get a flight. The winds are supposed to be picking up early tomorrow. 20+

So if they cancel flights for any reason or something happens just let me know! Hard part would be driving here though. I'm sure traffic is still not good most parts of the day

So far so good. There were some Uber drivers around to pick us up from the hotel and my dad and I are at the airport now. A bit earlier than we needed to be, but I like being safe. We won't be able to board until two hours later, but hey, that's where the internet helps. :3

Things in town were looking freaky though. Everything was boarding up, everything was closing, and the streets were very empty.
