Just coast through it, dude. Invent excuses, tell them you're busy at the moment (invent work for yourself if you have to), chuckle to yourself as things just burn around you, and remember that for every hour you endure it, there's always that $$$ that comes your way. That's what makes it all worth it.
Ha, it's funny you say that. I did tell them something like that. In fact it's not some invented excuse either. I told my cousin I could help pick up their kid (that just started pre-K) so they wouldn't have to worry about leaving him in a daycare or after school program. Cause that would just cost them money they don't have and they were really worried about that. So they had me working 5-1 weekdays again to help with that. Now....they went and changed it again. I told them it would be okay AS LONG as I can get out in time to pick up my nephew. Which has to be picked up no later than 3. Well, most days they have me getting off AT 3. Luckily it's not too far from where I work, but here's the kicker. Some days they have me getting off at 3:30 on weekdays I work. Which....is bad on those days I need to be there to pick him up. I haven't brought it up yet cause it hasn't been on a day I need to be there, but I will soon.

Just like I told them I had a dentist appointment (the one they forced me to reschedule for this same issue once before) because of this same issue. I told them about this one too and yet they still schedule me to work during the time of the appointment. I scheduled t for the time I should've been out from work anyway because of my schedule at the time. So when she questioned why I didn't ask for the day off. I kinda just laughed and she walked off. I honestly can't wait to tell her why....again. Cause it's her and the other lady that keep ruining my schedule.
