I have run into a good amount of pokemon. Butt, i am holding out for some certain ones. Because I am crazy for some reason.

There's no shame in claiming everything you see. xD It's actually a good idea because you may need them for gyms or other challenges.

I definitely need to claim Arcanine. I can't beat Sabrina's Jynx unless I have something to barbecue it. XD

I'll do it as soon as the Koga gym thing gets approved.

Yeah, I forgot that Pinsir is a possible option also. Having another fully evolved bug that isn't flying might be a good idea. Butterfree has been handy, but it can't take on Jynx without resulting in a draw.

Besides, Arcanine is a pretty cool Pokemon. I hope to get one in the actual Pokemon Go game.

Also, as you search for Pokemon, hold Ctrl while clicking on each thread link. It'll open every thread in a new tab, so you can just quickly check through each opened tab for Pokemon and close it after checking instead of going back and forward through each thread one at a time. It's MUCH faster.

A very good option. xD I agree with that. It's initially why I wanted to evolve my paras, but being part grass would achieve a draw anyway.
