Fit the Theme! (Video Game music version)

A battle theme? I've got one of my favorites right here!



It's not from a video game, but from Fate/Zero. This is by far one of the most intense and hype building themes to ever exist. I can't help but get pumped when I hear this song.

It's been awhile eh? TIME FOR A NEW THEME!

Today's Theme: Battle on the High Seas



Another Vindictus track, but I got hooked on this one. I used to get so annoyed by this battle, but now that it's been a few years that this particular battle has been out. If I went back to play it, there would probably be no battle for it that'd be easily lost. It'd be rare to lose in it with all the new limitations/restrictions and attacks and stuff. I can't think of one track from the Vindictus soundtrack that wouldn't fit well here under a theme.

Took me a while to think of one this time, but I finally found something; One of the few Zelda bosses with boat to boat combat.

Once this theme started playing in Super Mystery Dungeon I couldn't help, but turning that volume up more with headphones in! It was a big step up and change in music and style in general for the game at this point. A big turning point

Today's theme is: Fight with All of Your Might!



Tales of Symphonia was the first Tales of game that I played. Still today I'm playing Veseria when I can. I know the new one even came out not too long ago. These battle songs only seemed to get better. In fact, I loved Tales of Symphonia so much once I got it that I couldn't stop playing it. I must've played through it about 10-12 times xD. Each time you beat it you can use points you earn to add special bonuses to the game. Like 2x exp or more. Make it harder even was some options. I loved those and each time it seemed to get a little better. Doing more of the options or secret events each time. It was so fun! The battle system was just as awesome! Man I still miss it...

Ouch, how have I been neglecting this!?



This game is great, tactical fun and you hear this battle music a LOT, but it's great and it'll never bother you because it's just that good.

Only thing I didn't like too much about this game was the "Chaos Frame" system. Basically, it was a hidden karma-like stat that determined what special characters you could recruit, what kind of ending you got (I kept getting the same, very bleh ending again and again), and other stuff like that, and your score was only revealed to you at the end of the game. Also, you either had to have the strategy guide or do a LOT of Google searches to find so many secret characters and ways to recruit them. You would miss like half of the game's special content, hidden troop classes, items, and so on if you didn't resort to Internet searches while playing.

Despite that stuff, it's still a fun game and lets you mess around with a lot of cool classes and stuff.

I'm not a big fan of most of SMTIV's soundtrack, but the battle themes are always epic. Too bad most of the fights it plays in are optional. (Though with good reason..)

Ahh, I loved this game back on the Gamecube. It was pretty fun and my Gohan was unbeatable. So I had to end up stop playing because...no online gaming then xD

Both of these got me so pumped up and ready for the battle. I still LOVE Pokken Tournament so much! I just hope that they start making more updates for the Wii U version. Make an updated version for the Switch if not that
