Did you ever have any memorable teachers in your time at school?

I definitely have. I remember a lot of them very fondly and wanted to be their friend as their student. xD (One might say teacher's pet, but I just like to think I just treated them like actual people.) Now I have some on facebook but haven't caught up with many since I left high school. I just managed to find one who I've wanted to see again for years now but never had a way to contact her, which is so exciting!


Is anyone else friends with teachers they used to have? Or students, for teachers like @Rival Max? <:

I tend to remember the teachers I hated more than the ones I liked.

My drama teachers definitely made more of an impression in my memories than any of my other teachers. Probably because I find drama to be a more interesting class overall than any of my other classes.

I have greatly enjoyed 10 years of working with students. I can say at least for myself that my students leaving with some great memories is always my goal. I still have a couple of former students who i am cool with.

It's really interesting to hear it from the teacher's point of view. I was always that student who stayed back after class to chat to my teachers because I liked them. xD I didn't do it to all of them, though, or even the majority of them, but there are some who I still think about now and then who I looked up to and who made an impact to who I am now. I often wonder how fondly they remember me, though, because you guys go through so many more students than students go through teachers. I suppose it wouldn't be that common that there'd be a student who would show an interest in friendship, though, so I imagine you'd remember the students who made an effort to be respectful and have a chat with you and such.

What DO you teach, anyway? In Like a public school environment? High school? College? Middle school? I remember hearing you say at one point that you taught and I'm genuinely curious! :o

Ah..my college years. Full of joy and tears..

My class was made up of mostly delinquents and a grade holes, they made a teacher cry. She was a relief, and I HAD to played the hero part cuz she was really cute and cheered her up. Gave her some chocolates and a rose (lolcrazy) on teachers day. Almost went on a date with her.

She always is bias towards the rest. Hahahaha end of story.


Other thing I can remember...during a math class. A friend of mine tried to cracking a joke and my teacher flinged his middle finger at him. LOL.

I was doing basic programming and ms word and such. This year however I got some really tough news. Pretty much the entirety of my time on this forum I have had my own computer lab. This year I was moved out of the lab and into a special ed classes and this is a big adjustment for me. This is in a public high school near Chicago.
