The last dream I had it jolted me awake because I was going down a hill and crashed into something at the bottom.

Mom and I were coming from somewhere and I was driving on a dark back road when my headlights went out on the car. I could see a damn thing. So I was driving no faster than 2-3 MPH when all of a sudden I felt a drop as if I were riding a roller coaster until I hit the bottom. By this time I could hear my radio because I always have music playing at night yet I was still dreaming. The last thing I remember was someone driving a Jeep come down the hill behind us and then I jolted awake and sat up real fast in a panic.

Water parks are the worst for me! Oftentimes I get there like, an hour or half an hour before the water park closes. SO. FRUSTRATING.

I cant really say I've lucid-dreamt before...not to my knowledge anyway.

Well, I mean...I guess I KINDA have before? In my dreams sometimes I'll have supernatural abilities like being able to rewind time. It takes a lot of energy out of dream-me, though? Someone just died? WELP TIME TO GO BACK IN TIME. Or just make myself wake up because that **** ain't happening on my watch. Also, I'm not sure how typical this is but I DO have full control over my actions while dreaming. I've heard that some people dream as if they were watching themselves from a third-person perspective.

I find it so hard to force myself awake from a dream, though!

I also experience this weird dream-like state in my early stages of sleep. The dream is usually really shallow, and I often find myself jolting awake because I fell on the floor or something jumped at me in said dream. Doesn't happen often, though.
Haha, that's pretty much what my dreams do. xD

And yeah, I also have full control over myself in dreams, even when I'm not aware I'm dreaming. When my dreams ARE in third-person perspective, which happens less often, it's always me watching other people, not myself.

I also find it hard to force myself awake. I just try to manipulate the dream instead.

Oh wow that happens to me too. Like I'm walking down some stairs and fall and then jolt awake really quickly.

Ugh, waking dreams. xD Those are the WORST. It's like...you have to get up early to go to work and you hit that snooze button one more time...but you oversleep, thinking that all this time you WERE awake because you were dreaming about doing your morning routine. xD

Well...that's what's happened to me a few times xD

I had a zombie apocalypse dream last night. Kind of funny considering I haven't watched any zombie movies or played those kinds of games lately.

There didn't seem to be anything too out of the ordinary, though. Mostly checking what abandoned cars still worked, searching any abandoned houses for supplies, that kind of stuff. I didn't even see that many zombies to be honest. The only ones I really found were ones that were already dead, which might have been a good thing.

Definitely wasn't my neighborhood either. I had no clue where I was. XD

My most recent memorable dream was last week. I dreamt I was driving my brothers car (this was shortly after I had been driving it when mine had died!) and parked it at some campground. I left it for a bit and came back and found it was gone and some big tent was in its place. Turns out there was some filthy Bogan (basically like the Australian version of a redneck) who wanted that spot so towed the car elsewhere and refused to tell me where it was until I paid him $150. I told him to f*** off then got a crew together. There was me, and a few of my mates. I had been watching digimon heaps in the last few weeks so there were some of them as well. And we all had weapons. I had my decorative katana (though in this dream it was sharp as hell), and the others had clubs, bats etc. we were going to lynch mob this guy, but he got a crew together as wel so it was going to be a turf war. My mum woke me up as we charged...

The one dream that will always and forever stick with me was when I dreamed of my late maternal grandfather.

He had just died, and we weren't close or talked very much, since my parents had a nasty divorce and he never got along with my dad ever again. i always suspected that even though he loved my mom and loved me too, there was a part of him that always saw me as my dad's kid. Furthermore, the divorce was pretty nasty and caused several incidents over my lifetime, even beyond just the initial one (which I was too young to remember). I sat down across from him at a square table in some kitchen, with a lady who looked a bit like my grandma (his widow) sitting next to us both. In the dream, he... basically apologized to me. He was sorry that some of his mistakes and the mistakes of my parents made my life that much harder. I don't remember saying anything in the dream, but when I woke up the next morning I felt like absolution.

I'm not usually a person who holds much stock in dreams: I'm a scientist, after all. But this dream... I felt like it was a true dream.

Whilst I can't explicitly remember the dreams, I've had a couple that are imaginary episodes of TV shows, with some of those TV shows not even existing in the first place. One I can remember is that when I was a kid I dreamed up a full episode of The Simpsons, but apart from that I can't remember any more on it.

There's also a weird dream from years ago where I got kidnapped after someone knocked on the back door, then the kidnapper started leaping onto rooftops and I could feel the movement as she jumped. All throughout it lightning was striking in the background. I woke up after the dream and I was petrified. It's probably the one I most vividly remember.

One of my friends used to write all of his dreams down, and I swear the vast majority of those could be made into pretty decent novels, but he's stopped writing them down since.

I actually used to remember my dreams very often, but now I only remember them if they were particularly vivid.

Something kind of weird is that, although I haven't had one in a while, for as long as I can remember I've always had dreams about being in a car that crashed into water. Like, the circumstances are always different, but the basic theme is the same. The most recent of these dreams was probably a couple of years ago when I dreamt that my bus crashed into a pond we passed every day on the way to school.

Like I said though, I hardly ever remember my dreams. I think I've remembered maybe two dreams in the past year.

Usually I don't remember any dreams I have. If I do, I forget it right after I get up and dressed. I remembered one I had recently, I wanted to remember it and just write it out, but once I sat down on the couch that morning to do so I'm like "what was it again?" XD

    The time is upon us...
