Last year I remember I still wasn't very well known here. I was stil getting to know everyone. Still mostly lurking from time to time. So I didn't get many early on last year. I'm happy I got a few even if it is t too many right now. Even the few I have make me feel loved =)

I know the feel all too well, but I choose to be happy with the few I've got. All because I've got a few doesn't diminish the value of each one.

From mine, 5th or 6th. xD But the gap gets pretty wide. I'm not too concerned with numbers. Just happy I beat my record from last year of... 3? 2? It was 2 or 3.

It depends how you count I guess, cos a few people have the same amount haha. But congrats on beating your record! :D

I guess it's more like the ones with the most are getting the most because someone sees them and goes, "lets add to it!" So some people like me, well, we get left behind and wait. It's like a popularity thing to start really xD. That's the truth of it :p

I still don't mine waiting. Each and every one I receive are loooooved just as much as the other. Plus I'm a very patient person when it comes down to it.

I'm a loner for the most part, but I love the few friends I've got. I do have trouble connecting with people and feeling like I belong though. It can be frustrating, but hey- life.

Yeah, you're right. The more people you know well on the forum, the more Valentine's you're likely to get, of course. I know many of the participants do their best to make sure everyone gets at least a few though! Some people sign up and only send one or two to their best friends, so if you've recruited people to the forum, you're also likely to get more! :) You could also say it's extra special to get some during the first few days as it means you were the first person someone thought of. <3

If anyone is looking for thread to pop into, general discussion threads work. Quoting people always helps, because if you have something in common or a comment to make then it gets a conversation going!

Reading people's stories, commenting on art and comics, or just choosing five people and dropping them all VMs saying "hi can we talk" is a good way to go. :] Everyone here is pretty friendly! Try targeting mods if you want because they're gonna have to respond. ;3 And if they don't...REPORT THEM. Not really. xD

You could literally make a thread saying "Who wants to be friends" and that would be perfectly fine. cx I just bother everyone which seems to work. xD
