I have to agree with @Desolate Divine. Hilary Clinton probably wouldn't have been a worse President but if she had won, she would have continued to foster a system that's broken. The fact that Donald Trump won despite how much he is hated by the people showed to me that the people are sick of the empty promises the political establishment makes.

The extreme left make no sense to me, they've been so blatantly hypocritical that it's disgusting. At least the alt-right are unashamed of who they are, the extreme left seem to think that they can claim dignity all while they stoop to the same levels as the very people they belittle. I don't remember where I heard it but it did make me chuckle when someone said a wealthy liberal is a confusing creature.

I make it two years of Trump smugness, before the stalemates start. America does love it's balance. So unless the conservatives actually manage to do positive things while they're in the position they're in, they'll lose one if not both houses in 2018.
Personally, I don't have an issue with the tweeting. Is it unnecessary? Sure. However, I think it's actually a good thing. President Trump is KNOWN for speaking what's on his mind and he does so quite often via Twitter. Because of this, we don't have to deal with anybody trying to sugarcoat what he may or may not mean because he'll adamantly tell us what he actually means through his tweets (he already does so).

I agree with you though. I don't believe he'll change, but it's only fair to give him a chance to do so. It isn't wise for anyone to believe he'll suddenly do so after so many years though.
