What's The Story Behind Your PXR Name?

I've always been Neo Emolga on PXR, but on PE2K, I had FlyingLatios as the first name I ever had (no one remembers that name though) before switching over to Neo Pikachu, all based on the Matrix (people still remember that movie, right!?) and of course a very famous electric mouse. The name kind of stuck for the longest time, but when Emolga came around, I loved the heck out of that crazy, mischievous flying squirrel way too much (Emolga has a cool and cute design too!) so Pikachu got dethroned. I kept the Neo part since it's a cool word for something that's new and cool, even though the Matrix references have been long gone since then.

I still remember that April Fools jokes. ;]

Yeah, while under the FlyingLatios name, I was such a nubcake. My first fan fiction was shabby and pretty stupid, but hey, everyone starts somewhere. Meanwhile, I couldn't even figure out how to set up a signature, so what I ended up doing was inserting it at the bottom of every post manually! Back then, I was also so darn jealous of all the banners and signature graphics that other people had I was hardcore determined to figure out how to make my own. For all those who want an inspirational story, my first banner, once I had finally moved over to Neo Pikachu as a name, was just a screencap of Matrix code and with "Pikachu is the one" in Matrix font. Terribly basic. And bit by bit, I kept getting better and better at making banners and stuff.

And bang, look at me now! Making banners for everyone else! My past self would have been blown away at the kinds of banners I can make now. :3

I've been using Neko/Nekomata for 9+ years now, I think. It started with a nickname a friend gave me in school. It stuck so I just kept using it online. I typically use it for most things. Nothing special to the name.

Well let's see. I joined PE2K when I was 17 years old. I, like many others, aspired to be the greatest Pokemon Trainer. Not the most creative, but it was something I decided in a gist, and stuck with it; Trainer17. It was for so many years, after which I decided to go with Tsuna, named directly after my most favorite anime character during that time, but I had gone and reverted back to Trainer17 because it held so many memories. Like literally xD Gemma suggested to make it Trainer27, reflecting that I'm getting older by the day, but I had to tell her again that she was OLDER than me <333

ohhh this is a good one really, i blaitantly stole my username from a Norwegian browser game from 2006. but it gets better, and more nsfw and quite offensive. anyways Mujaffa spillet, or "The Mujaffa game" is a incredibly racist browser game about an immigrant in Norway who builds a bmw and uhhh emm "hugs" Norwegian blondes. because in 2006 that was pretty much what imigrants did here. anyways i played a lot of this game durring class when i was like .. 8. and i knew most of the catchphrases from the game, no really it had like 5 entire voice lines. so my classmates just started calling me Mujaffa and it stuck. ironic really because i'm a VOLVO MAN not some bimmer mmmmmrrr mean words!!
anyways, yeah. i love my username. it's so bad.

That's quite the story!

Mine is such an old name. When I started playing runescape back in 2005 I made my name ant2011. The first 3 letters of my name and then the year I was scheduled to graduate high school. Also having the "a" lowercase became very important to me. It kind of showed that I didn't care lol.

The name just sorta stuck and any website I joined or online game I played between then and like 2013 I used ant2011.

I've branched out to a few other names trying to ditch the numbers, but I'll always be ant2011.

Well, back when I first played pokemon White, I nicknamed every pokemon I caught, including legendaries. So when I got to the point of Catching Zekrom, I neamed it after the only black dragon I could think of at the time, the dragon owned by Galbatorix in Eragon, Shruikan. It wouldn't have made any difference normally, but the next day the pokemon global link was finally set up, and I needed a username for it. All the ones I used at the time had already been taken, so I tried to think of a more obscure name, and my Zekrom's nickname came back to me. From then on it's been my go-to username pretty much everywhere.

I've never seen Eragon, but Shruikan is such a cool name! Especially for a dragon. I'm glad you chose it.

Caite-chan: My real name is Caitlin and when I was going to join Bulbagarden I was gonna use Caitlin but someone was already using that exact version. Cate is a nickname that people will call me so I just decided to do Caite-chan which I thought was cute...lol.

Shane O Mac v 3, Bioactive Showtime, Skate Master Tony, Karisuma-Teichou (Japanese for Captain Charisma) and Slave To Petey.

Most are wrestling cept for Skate Master Tony as I was into skateboarding at the time and Tony Hawk was my favorite and Bioactive Showtime is ish wrestling. I just wanted something cool. You'll hear the older members call me something else. Harry still calls me Tony from time to time and others might call me Shane.

I don't know why Bioactive Showtime is so awesome to me. It sounds so tough and flashy.

It was originally Voltaire Magneton (some protagonist in a local tv series with a Pokemon twist; i think the name's cool :D), but after people asking me if it's related to the French philosopher, I switched it to VoltChen (an exo member with electricity as a superpower lol) and it's kinda refreshing to the mouth when you say it XD

I completely forget that there was a philosopher named Voltaire! xD

My first ever forum was GameTrailers (GT). I sat at the computer for nearly an hour trying to figure out a username. At the time Naruto was hitting a peak popularity. Then it suddenly hit me. Chakramaster. Chakra is a main feature in the show they use....I could tack on "master" to it. Sounded like a "master" plan. So it carried with me through pretty much everywhere now xD. Even my email (though someone stole that original name :( ). When I joined here on PXR. I figured I would continue the legacy of Chakramaster. The legend lives on!

Part of the reason I've stuck with it so long is just that I can't stand all the name changes on the internet. I'm bad with names, so everytime people change, it takes me a while to remember they changed it. Drives me insane when people change so frequently. XD
