I... was joking about showing her the Philter notes. It has some strategic legitimacy, but... well, you know what happened the last time some idiot (me) pulled a stunt like that.


That said, I'm not against it, but I would like to advise you to take one thing into consideration: this might be the sort of action that increases our second Doom Counter, which depends on Stalkers cottoning on to our operations. I'm not saying Bad Idea Do Not Do, but it's a risk to consider.


Anyone know what I could do this evening? I can always hold my action in reserve if I need to exorcise Nairek, and I'd prefer to avoid looking into potentially draining areas so I don't go Berserk if I get called upon for an exorcism.

Well, the other time we did that, we got as close as possible to a confession as we could in that situation (from Millie as Koax), and juding from the wording here, if Nairek really is Philter, then she'll hopefully do something akin to that. I'll reserve questioning of that for last.

That she'll raise that counter, assuming she is a Stalker, is a possibility, but we have wriggle room here. It's not like it'll instantly cap out at 100% from just showing two notes, one of which was in plain sight.

SO Since I had A super busy weekend and couldn't post or read any posts, could someone update me on what's been found and what I could do that's helpful? I'm still hoping to interview the cacturne if that hasn't been done yet.

I need someone to search (3), a Resturaunt, tonight. The owner is one of two suspects of being a Stalker, and where there's stalkers, there's Stalker-related stuff.

Also, I'd enjoy it if someone could start Investigating two potential Stalkers-Zamsi the Flygon and Rabukan the Druddigon. I'm not sure if it has to be started during the Day round, but that would annoy me. A reminder that both are potential suspects for the Embalm case.

We are currently aware of the names of Four kill methods of the Stalkers, with no real connections for two of them yet: Philter (kills by brain-eating seed), Oblivion (kills by... tarring?), and two unknown (one tortures for extended periods and puts a mask on the victim, the other literally scares them to death, as corny as it sounds). There is also one other Stalker whose kill method we have yet to uncover, known as Embalm, though it may be the extended torture one all things considered. The other seven/six (assuming Suicune's Fire didn't lie about that interesting statistic) are at large. Of these Stalkers, Philter has an almost-confirmed identity in Nairek, but it came so easily we're fairly sure there's something more to this one.

Also we've been getting a lot of holy artifacts with no actual real idea what the Sin Purge ritual would be, other than it involves a heavenly entity and the monuments at one of the parks.

I thought it had been searched. I just didn't have time to recheck everything right before work. So yeah the exterior is perfect. I changed it now

IN any case, I'm going to restrain Nairek now, but before I do... Does anyone feel particuarily disinclined to a use of a Red Herring question? "What is the meaning of the goggles?" I ask this because I want to throw the Stalkers off the trail. They're trying to get as much info out of us as possible, so false information ought to slow any gains as long as we're clever about it, and have them searching and hoarding items of zero importance.
