It can be hard to decide what to do without offending someone. Especially these days. So I think you did the right thing, Xanthe. I wouldn't worry too much. At least it's better than keeping that stress around causing you more anxiety. Sure it may be awkward, but at least it's out of the way. I try not to add anyone I don't know like that for reasons just like that. I'd rather not deal with weird situations like that xD.

xD Isn't it a pretty regular word to know? They're, like, plant trimmers. Not often do I have to spell it, which is probably the reason I never remember, haha. Just when I do, I'm like "hooowww do I spell this?!"
