I remember back in middle school (around 2003) I tried going to Newgrounds......let's just say when it came to watching videos I went to the wrong section and ended someplace bad x_x

Still looks awesome! Yeah I remember how many videos I saw there with flash animations of people killing Pikachu. It was pretty insane. Too bad flash animations are dying out.

I mean to have been through 8 rounds it HAD to have been successful. Oh I'm way more active now. So if another ever came up I'd be as active as I can be for that. Besides, Tazz has already won. It's time for someone new to shine, not spark.

14?! Geez, the most I've made was with that last one I made. It was around 5 or 6 I think. P-primary and secondary? Ok, yeah you lost me. Don't know how to do something like that xD. let alone how you even make a so-called "primary and secondary banner." It's like inception. It's a banner within a banner. Next thing you're gonna tell me is each Emolga is it's own individual banner added to a banner. That's like....5 banners in one @_@

Well can only stretch so far. The flashdrive it's on is buggy and it only works on the flashdrive. I can't get it to work off of it. It didn't even work on the new computer I bought. Only this old broken laptop I have which runs super slow. So trying to run CS3 on it makes it even more complicated lol, but I tend to get it to work at times.

Yeah, Newgrounds has a lot of rather... nasty stuff on it. But there were plenty of memorable gems in there. But yeah, I had to be THE GUY that armed Pikachu to the teeth and get some nice retaliation in. It was fun and satisfying, but yeah, like you said, Flash animations are on their way out and I'm not sure what kind of animating platform will replace them.

Yeah Inception is kind of like it, where I first complete a primary banner, save it as a PNG, then open it up, broaden the canvas space, and then add more additional effects, effectively creating a kind of double-layered banner.

And gah, that sucks about your CS3 and computers. But yeah, I don't know what I'd do without Photoshop. I would miss it sorely, as I use it on almost a daily basis.

Yup, totally got lost there xD. Really need to freshen up on my Photoshop skills. I'd love to have a better talent at Photoshop stuff.

Yeeeeaah, but hopefully come tomorrow I will have my new computer ordered and on the way. A quick thing to note, is the flashdrive dates all the way back to 2005-2007. 2007 being when my first laptop started breaking down from the inside (Trojan horse virus destroyed the motherboard). So I'm kinda skeptical about using it on "new" laptops without some sort of virus protection or etc. Though I've had experts scan the device and it came up clean.

If you can, try to get a hold of the educational version of Photoshop (you might need to show a student ID and/or course schedule). It will still cost a few hundred, but it will be so much cheaper than the professional version. I may not be in school anymore, but I still keep my student IDs for these kinds of things.

I honestly need to check on the price again. That and pray that my new laptop will FINALLY be in working order and have NO issues whatsoever. and work the way it's supposed to.

Yeah, a working laptop is definitely more important.

But for me, CS was not without its own issues though. Using the Magic Wand tool often caused Photoshop to crash for me, but thankfully, whatever was causing that bug in CS was definitely fixed by the time CS6 came along.

Well my issue was similar. Using the magic wand to auto select areas to cut out. Way more than often it cut into the render I was trying to cut out. I still haven't got used to it all =/. Though I have gotten control of it better than before now.

I hope to fix that computer issue later today...if all things go well that is
