Spoiler:
For sure. The Spyro trilogy FOR SURE. They never made a better Spyro game than Year of the Dragon. It was my favourite game when I was little, haha. I also loved Crash Bandicoot and Crash Bash. Omg. Such fun. We had Lego Racers and that was hilarious, too. We had so many demo discs which we used to play too. XD One time my dad snapped one in half because we kept playing this M-rated wrestling game (Bloody Roar 2) that we weren't allowed to. XD
AGREED TIMES INFINITY PLUS ONE. XD
Spyro was my favourite PSOne series, and Year of the Dragon was my favourite game. After that the series slowly declined and, well...now we have whatever the hell Skylanders is. ;n; I'm so hyped for the remaster of the Crash Bandicoot trilogy this year on PS4. You will not see me on this forum until I have beaten that thing. xD
SPYRO! The PS1 Spyro games were the best, I've spent countless hours playing those. The music, humour and gameplay were perfect. I wish they'd make a new Spyro game, but I think it's doomed because Skylanders took over as a franchise. Hopefully one day!
AND CRASH! The first Crash was so hard, and I couldn't wrap my head around the password system, so I kept playing the same levels over and over. Still had fun cx
And Coolboarders, though I only got to play that at a friend's house. Poor snowboarder, I made him faceplant so much cx
And the Digimon World games, though I could never figure those out and my Digimon kept dying...
The PS1 was a tank too, and the discs were surprisingly durable.
Also, lol at the wrestling game cx

Derp, ignore me, my internet died and my message posted twice. xD
I was such a junkie for Siphon Filter also, but that game was HARD. Never got past the underground cathedral stage without cheating. But yeah, there were so many gems on that thing. I only played the first Spyro game, but it was fun and had a lot of goofy humor to it, also.
And ouch, sounded like your dad was pissed. For that, I'm can honestly say my parents didn't seem too bothered if I was playing M-rated games even though I was underage. I played the original Doom when I was only twelve and I wasn't really that bothered by it. But back then, games were so pixelated that it was easy to accept they weren't anywhere close to reality. My mom did prefer it if I was shooting at demons or monsters, but shooting at other humans was a bit more on the iffy side.
I think the only game we returned due to violent content was the original Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on the N64. Game was good, but yeah, even when you killed stuff, they didn't die right away and just bleed all over the place and suffered for a while before dying off. I kind of have to say that it was a bit unnecessarily extreme even for an M-rated game.
