I'd still like to buy it one day just to have a complete collection. There was a point where I owned every Pokemon game besides that and Green version. But then they started making too many spinoff games to keep up with xD I'm way behind now!

Yes, as a kid I often had a lot of trouble. Out of every American accent, the kind I have is...pretty much the most plain. I mean, demographic / area-wise. :o I didn't realize until I played again several years down the road that you have to speak RIDICULOUSLY plain. And even then I think Pikachu just...doesn't like to listen half of the time. It has a mind of its own.

Yeah :( My friend bought a copy online and had to hack his Australian N64 to play it xD It looked like fun but Pikachu hardly understood anything he said haha! I heard that the voice recognition wasn't great at the time which is why they didn't really pursue it. They could definitely do something like that now though! I hope they make more cute games like that for the Switch!
