Welp, it was about 1°C over here in the states. A bit chilly, yep. XD

Not at all! The hill behind where the photo is facing was a bit steep so we had to go down it to reach the water, then trudge back up to get to where the car was parked. There are actually houses just to the left of the photo's angle. xD It's like four minutes away from a main road, weirdly.

Yeah it was! :D Today is all cold and miserable though... xD Typical. Oh we didn't go on hikes. They're not my thing. We just swam. xD The cliff faces you're looking at was on the other side to where we were; we just stuck to the sensible side, haha. Plus this kid died there recently because he tried to climb up the cliffs and fell. =/ And yeah! I'd love to go back. Out in the centre of the water, it was so incredibly deep. The friend who was the one to suggest we go there said she's been there before, and one time she had a paddle board with a long rope attached and a rock at the end, and they'd hug the rock and jump into the water and fall with its weight, and even though the rope was several metres long, they never got close to the bottom. O_o So it must be reeeeally deep. Good thing crocs don't live there. XD

Yeah it was! 8D There was a mama duck (who I dubbed Julie) and her two babies. Julie was so freaking irresponsible; she would let her babies just wander off and at one point this dog kept swimming after them and all of a sudden they would just RUN ACROSS THE WATER so fast. XD It was impressive but they were clearly distressed. The owners called the dog back but there were times when they weren't watching her so we would be like "LAYLA, NO." xD *shakes head* Oh, Julie.

Ahaha it was 34 yesterday for us. (93.2) I think my temperature gauge is broken because my friends were all hot and I was COLD. XD Not cold, really, but definitely not hot. The water was very chilly so that probably stuck with me even after I got out, haha.

Personally I don't like hikes myself either. Last time I was offered to go on one was where we had heard reports of cougar attacks a week or two ago from the time. Soooooooo I was quick to jump to the NOPE train xD. Man what I wouldn't give for a cool or cold summer day. Maybe I just need to move back out to where my dad was in Los Alamos, New Mexico. I absolutely HATE the summer heat and especially the humidity. It's the worst! Though I suppose how you take in temperature depends on where you're born, your nature, and supposedly gender =3. So what could be cold to women may not be for men.

Oh man that' awful that a kid died that way. It's a really risky thing and for rock climbing or any kind of climbing. You really need to be prepared and play if as SAFE as you possibly can. Woooow! *0* that deep huh? That sounds like tons of fun! Ahaha, yeah it's really good you don't have any crocs there. That'd be a really big problem. Glad you had fun and are making the best out of your summer!

Hikes are cool, but my parents always like to do it at the EXACT same places. I feel like the point of a hike is to see new places. It really bugs me. :P

Biggest hike I've went on outside of one for class back in 5th grade in the year 2000. It was climbing Stone Mountain, not climbing, but walking up the mountain trail. That last part beat the top is super steep. I needed to get a hand because I remember my shoes back then had like zero traction. They were a few years old, so they had worn out. It was pretty tiring, so I took the lazy way back down and took the tram xD

The halfway point was a good break, but that last stretch, yeah I wouldn't like it again xD. Though I've heard people have been trying to get a petition to sandblast the carvings off the mountain now with all the hate going around the country lately.
