Oooooh yeah I 100% agree on this. I had a co-worker that was like that. Everyone hated him for it. It's sad to see it happen because I was one of the few people who treated him with respect and treating him more like a friend/friendly co-worker....until he started turning against me for absolutely no reason. Everyone started hating him. I guess something got to him cause one day the head boss told him "go home and I'll call you later." Needless to say that's the day he was "let go."

Thing is, people remember things. Take Noble's roommate thing for example. You never know how someone will continue to react after something is done about the problem. If you're living in a neighborhood. Befriend the neightbors and don't give the HOA or neighbors around you reason to hate or report you. All little things you really have to be cautious of in life.

^^ My mom was HOA president for a while. Can confirm. The things I know about the people in my neighborhood man. My mom remembers a lot of people, but she only remembers the names of the people who pissed her off.

There was one job I had that was just downright awful to the point where I started comparing and relating my coworkers to Alice in Wonderland characters. On my last day when I had nothing left to lose, I should have written it out and sent it to the whole department. That kind of thing would have been epic but I just didn't have the bravery I needed at the time.

I'm sure when it comes to a job that is just ridiculous. It would be quite the feat to show them how you really feel about how bad things really are. Buuut yeah I'd be the same. I feel if I were to do something like that it would end up getting me in more trouble than it's worth. So yeah I wouldn't do something like it either.

The alternative thing I don't like is just walking away with your tail between your legs each and every time, which is usually what happens. And when that happens, it just happens again and again to everyone because the evil cretins think they can get away with it every time.

In that job I was talking about, I was only there for three months and I had seen four people leave or get fired with a fifth strongly considering heading out. All within that short time span. That's when you know a place has serious problems and either needs to be completely restructured or gutted entirely and have some other resource address the responsibilities they were doing. It happened about four years ago, but I wouldn't be surprised if that particular group no longer exists because of all the problems it was having.

Any work environment is like that. Sadly some people get better treatment in it than others. Some people don't get punished as they should either. It's like certain get catered to while others suffer at the faults of others.

Like before the one guy at my work got let go (the one everyone hated). He treat everyone except the head guy pretty crappy. He was like the guy you'd see at customer service all the time. He stopped letting others behind the counter unless they were in a certain ranking at the store. Whether you were told to get it or not. He'd stop talking to the customer he's with to hold out his arm or leg to stop you from trying to even grab something just inside. Not very respectful. Even if We had things to return. He'd rather make more work by telling us "leave it on the counter." Yeah, I'd rather put it away myself than make more work and cause trouble.

We've always been told to stay off our phones. Yet, even if we're slow he'd be on his phone while no one was up there. Sometimes listening to videos out loud. Sometimes even recording things to send to others on Snapchat or something. Luckily he was let go. I think everyone would've lost their mind by now if it went any further.

Thanks! It took forever to get those animations to sync up. But all in all it was worth it! Didn't spend near as much time on the avatar but it's just a placeholder for when I get the time to make something better.
