I got my Emolga kigurumi today and it's awesomesauce! I ordered this WAY back in late November and the wait for it was BRUTAL. But it's sooo many times better than that cheesy knockoff version I had before that was too short and had some weird things going on with it. This is much softer, fits way better, and the features are definitely way closer to that beloved sky squirrel.

I really have to cool it with buying these things, but darn it, they're so soft, cozy, and fun. They make regular pajamas seem so darn boring and uncomfortable now. XD

It's like a onesie. Xanthe got me into these when she started a thread about them way back when and silly, curious me decided to give them a spin just to see what they're like. I thought they were silly at first but decided to try one anyway and holy cow, they're really soft and cozy and downright great fun to wear. But if you get them, get commissions off of Etsy. The quality is DRASTICALLY higher than going with the cheapo stuff on Amazon. The Umbreon kigu I got on Amazon was awful and started falling apart so quickly whereas the one I got off Etsy is so much better, softer, higher-quality, and the ears and tail are definitely resemble an Umbreon's way better than the other one did (seriously, why were they so short and rounded?). Not to mention the Etsy variants fit so much better and some people will allow you to get them customized for any Pokemon you want! That's where it gets addicting. Because I'm like "hmm, what other Pokemon would make a great kigu and would be great fun to wear!?" I have five now (Emolga, Umbreon, Flareon, Mega Charizard X, and Ninetales) and I can think of at least a dozen others that sound like they'd be fun. Like I said, I need to cool it.

The only sad part is the ones on Etsy are not cheap, but they're better quality and you're supporting individual artists that really put a lot of great quality work into these. If you're ever interested, I know the best peeps to order from.

Etsy is awesome and they keep making it better. I only had one issue where an order never got completed but I got my money back with no hassle about it. But yeah, if you want the really cool and unique stuff and don't mind spending a bit more for it, that's definitely the place. Plus you can buy neat and cool things that really skilled and talented people can make just for you rather than some rushed mass-produced thing. That's like one of the few niches that Amazon doesn't cover.

The perfect opportunity is when someone is willing to be a sacrifice to showcase the powers of said silly flying squirrel's magical powers of awesomeness xD. Being the victim of it is fun sometimes xD. I doubt other people willingly want something like it haha. That or it's rare :p
